Today, would you be willing to enlist in the military to fight for this country?

Based on the current direction and leadership, it would be a difficult decision, but I say Yes. However, I would not blame others for saying NO.

Under a solid "America First" group in Washington DC, it would be an easy YES answer. I am not sure we will ever have true patriotic leadership again in this country.

Sad, but true.

Nope. I'd never work for a government that makes people like Eric Swalwell rich.

No and I’m a veteran and have been to war. I would not fight for those people in Washington today. Wars today are not to defend anything.

I’m fought in the army with two tours. Don’t think I’m allowed to rejoin unless it’s under speciality. I’m a psychiatrist so they’d 100% let me do that i I chose. Point being: if you’ve served your not likely to get back in.

I’m 54, so I probably wouldn’t be so good at the running, climbing and dodging bullet stuff

No. And I would encourage my children not to. My father, uncles, and cousins served.

Makes me sad that I no longer have this romantic view of my country.

Why should I fight for a country that has labeled conservatives unpersons? Now fighting for freedoms and protecting my family from domestic socialist.......

Today? Gladly. Trump is still in charge.

If Biden is allowed to take office? No chance in hell.

Thankfully, Biden won't be inaugurated.

Been there done that, but if needed Yes, I would give my life defending America, even to save the crazy Trumpers, or any group of Americans, any other answer is unpatriotic.

Nah.

The deep state can send their own children to fight and die for pointless wars in 3rd world shitholes.

Leave mine out of it. I will do everything I can as a father to make sure they do not need to look at enlisting as an option for financial security and learning how to be a man.

I am past my sell-by date but I can say the politics of the President or the other branches of government had zero impact on my choice to serve. When I signed on the dotted line I had no idea who would be the CiC when I got my commission.

Not a chance with Biden shoving neo Marxist policies down our throats. We live in a shthole banana Republic now with totalitarian media and tyrannical leadership. What the hell is worth fighting for now? More of that garbage? Not a chance.

The United States military hasn't fought for this country since WW2. We fight wars today so the political class and their allies can get even richer.
