I read these threads, and lol at the comments.
Not to make a comparison, but you have to understand and believe there were Jews in Germany in the middle 1930's saying "Hyman, stop with all this nonsense about the government rounding us up. We are German citizens, we are the people of Germany. Our government will not attack its own citizens."
You know those conversations actually happened. It's amazing anyone in this day and age would dismiss anything as impossible. I guess most people believe whatever makes them feel best.
I just find it funny.

People aren't making fun because they see it as unlikely their government could do such a thing. People are making fun that some random pawn shop would know any more information than anyone else.

For him maybe but not over the whole country. My son moves more guns in an afternoon than that guy moves in a month. I would know if something like that was in the pipeline.

Random question....are regular magazines (ie 9mm, etc) hard to get and inflated price wise too?

Not in my experience. Shops raised prices a little then were flooded with inventory so prices dropped. Glock 19 magpul mags were under 15.00 the other day at my local shop. And 20/30 round AR mags are as cheap as ever.
