Everything was fine and SOH was fine 2 years ago.

Need to get out of the middle east and quit doing Israels bidding.

Seems like everything has been affected since this excursion started… gas, inflation, soldiers lives, interest rates… no one is tripping cause I think it’s short lived but what are we gaining bc of this nonsense?
Israel suspecting IGRC had nukes? Im going on a limb it’s bullshite.

I agree. I also want to know about the worry for the price of Dasani bottled water at the local convenience store. A 16 oz bottle cost 0.99, which is 8.00 a gallon. It comes out of a tap somewhere and is purified. Sixteen ounces of gasoline cost 50 cents at 4 dollars a gallon. Billions of dollars are spent to explore, drill, extract, ship, refine, transport and deliver at wholesale to service stations who then charge a markup to $4.00.
Yes, per gallon we consume more gallons of fuel than bottled water, but consider all the cost incurred when complaining about gas prices. Forego the Dasani bottled water at your next fill up and overall you’ll save at the pump.

Can we just get on with it? How tf does it take so long? This was supposed to be quick. I’m willing to bet this shite will still be going on when Trump leaves office

Trump and company royally fricked up getting us into this situation, why should we think they can get us out?

You know what else will raise gas prices? Permanent IRGC control of the SOH. They cannot be allowed to charge fees for tankers to go through their preferred route. It is a ransom payment that the US should not and will not allow. It gives them a permanent stable income to continue to expand the IRGC and their proxies. They also would maintain the ability to close the straight whenever desired as a leverage play. That’ll also raise your gas prices.
Of course you are right, but it's still sad to see the number of pansies downvoting your assessment.
Oh well. Poli-Rant - just another example of the enshitification of goods and services.

What’s sad is the SOH issue wasn’t really an issue before Trump started all this. Our own actions created this problem.

The SOH is not open at all? Then how and why would internationally flagged cargo ships even be in the position to be fired upon there, and very recently. It’s hard to believe that a cargo ship not associated with Iran, either directly or via a “mutual friend” country, would simply suddenly and randomly give it a shot. Which leads me to believe that there is some non-Iranian authorized ship passage going on and through.

You MAGA cucks are so embarrassing, Orange fricked up, it is what it is and it would be great if he could let it go and move on, but no he needs to quadruple down in his original stupid decision and all his cult just drools and repeats his dumb arse taking points.
'Member when he was about to give IRAN 300 BILLION about 2 weeks ago and you cultist were all in on that debacle? Pepperidge farm 'members.

Glad you were able to vomit that all out. Bet you’ve been carrying all that around for a while.

Damn right, there's a ridiculous boogeyman around every corner.
Only one of them is holding the SOH hostage, though. And that's happening in real life.

And it wasn't happening before we started this senseless war
Everyone knew they would do it except for Trump and Hegseth apparently

If that true - the multiple boogeymen thing (which I will pretend it is for the sake of conversation - at least those particular folks have variety in their thought process and not flamboyantly obsessed with a man - one man. And in most cases without a doubt spending more time thinking and “talking” about him far more than they likely do with their significant other. Not to mention being all hyped up and in an angry mood when they ARE with significant other.
If Im choosing which Id rather be, well, that should be obvious…..to everyone but the Trump obsessionists.
