From my perspective it’s much bigger than it was 2 or 3 years ago.

Maybe in 2007. Xitter is past its prime now. Social media is in its brain rot reels/shorts/tiktok era.

Wrong.

It keeps hitting record numbers in users, impressions, and visits. It’s the #1 news app in all app stores. More recently, it’s trending as a top 10 brand for Gen Z.

All of this and it had a monster impact on this election.

Twitter has always had major monetization issues. Ad engagement isn't great there.

Seems like X’s real value is worth all of legacy media and big tech combined and then some seeing that it played a pivotal role in electing POTUS.

Cwill quit the board over Elon buying twitter. He insists Elon is an idiot.

He started saying that after he tried to back out from the deal (and lost)

Elon’s net worth fluctuated more daily than what he “overpaid” for twitter. Who cares when he started saying what? It is all posturing. You know this.

I’m sure he went over to Reddit and created hundreds of alts. The amount of users there who swear Elon is stupid and a failure made me lose hope in society. Then I realized reddit isn’t real.

I'm not arguing that Elon overpaid by like $20B and we all won

I stopped reading Twitter in 2010. funny that y’all feel like you discovered something new more than a decade later. My 72 year old mother is constantly on Twitter so I’m sure she could fill me in.

How depressed are you? You’ve been missing for a bit. Can’t wait to see you in the camps. I’ll give you some extra food if you’re funny enough… which I doubt.

I disagree with SFP quite often but I fail to see where he was wrong in any way with the statement you quoted.

Did Musk overpay? Most certainly.

Is it a good thing he bought it? Also most certainly.

Musk owning twitter has already had a huge, positive, impact on information dispersion for not only the US, but the world. It will only grow and improve the spread of information going forward.

eta-And it better grow for it to ever turn a profit.

He said them Democrat crooks cost him a lot of money by pressuring advertisers to avoid X.

Another reason to vote these demons out.
