Reports that Russia is about to rotate in 300k freshly trained troops, the biggest mobilization since WW2.

They may have sent them through basic training and taught them how to operate an AK, but there's no way those guys are going to be combat effective with that little training.

What they meant was that they drafted 1.5m and will throw them in to combat. They expect 300,000 to survive and then be well trained.

Ukrainian troops have been getting trained by NATO instructors. This was initially Russia's war to lose, but now it's a small force of NATO-trained Ukrainians with Western tech and intel against a large force of poorly-trained Russian conscripts with Russian tech. Total toss-up at this point.

Even if Russia takes Ukraine, their choices are to either roll into Poland and Romania and get their dicks slapped by NATO, or stay put in Ukraine and fight a NATO-funded insurgency for decades. They probably should have just stayed home.

Obviously, this should all be taken with a grain of salt, as it might be as real as the Ukraine Spring Offensive, but these are supposed to be the callups from last Fall.

Bless your heart. Russia took back their sovereign land in Crimea and nato didnt do squat, Russia has taken back their sovereign land in what was formerly known as eastern ukraine and nato hasnt done squat. Russia can take the rest of what was formerly known as ukraine and nato wont do squat.
They will however continue to work with allies to ensure the US is invaded by millions every year and kill over 100K with lethal drugs....and nato wont do...well you get the picture.

I assume these are the reservists who were called up in the Fall of 22. Some were sent to the front lines to stabilize the defense, but the bulk have been in training since then.

If they had 100k then Ukraine had 300k. They are winning the grind with their superior artillery. Slow long war that destroys the Ukranian army and ability and will to fight again.

Ukraine isn't part of NATO. If they try to expand into NATO borders they'll get crushed and fast. Even Putin knows this
