Do you really think anyone bothered to tell him about the balloons?

Why didn't the Deep State 'leak' this info to the press and make Trump look weak?

They leaked literally everything else.

Seriously, ask yourself and don't lie.

What a gotcha with literally no details whatsoever haha. For all we know these other 3 "transits" were a few hours over the Aleutian Islands. I mean, if you're willing to admit to other instances publically, why would you neglect to mention the most basic details of these transits unless you were merely making a bullshite political jab?

"The balloon, which was being used by the PRC in an attempt to surveil strategic sites in the continental United States, was brought down above U.S. territorial waters," Austin said.

I’d say the attempt was pretty successful considering it traversed the continent before being shot down after it already accomplished its mission.

Gotta love all these fricking idiots patting themselves on the back over this

Did you read the article you posted? No where does it say that the balloons flew before and Trump ignored them.

To those thinking it is a ploy. No way China wastes time. The equipment must provide better intel or else they wouldn't be so valuable.

The only ploy is Biden announcing it to change the news frame and try to grab a Dubya 911 bullhorn moment. (Biden bombed some ISIS member and no one cared)
quote:

The United States, however, says it is undoubtedly a Chinese spy balloon about the size of three buses. According to the Pentagon, the balloon carries sensors and surveillance equipment, it is maneuverable and has shown it can change course.

quote:

U.S. officials first detected the balloon and its payload on January 28 when it entered U.S. airspace near the Aleutian Islands. The balloon traversed Alaska, Canada and re-entered U.S. airspace over Idaho. "President Biden asked the military to present options and on Wednesday President Biden gave his authorization to take down the Chinese surveillance balloon as soon as the mission could be accomplished without undue risk to us civilians under the balloon's path," said a senior defense official speaking on background. "Military commanders determined that there was undue risk of debris causing harm to civilians while the balloon was overland."

An F-22 Raptor fighter from the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, fired one AIM-9X Sidewinder missile at the balloon.

The balloon fell approximately six miles off the coast in about 47 feet of water. No one was hurt.

Long before the shoot down, U.S. officials took steps to protect against the balloon's collection of sensitive information, mitigating its intelligence value to the Chinese. The senior defense official said the recovery of the balloon will enable U.S. analysts to examine sensitive Chinese equipment. "I would also note that while we took all necessary steps to protect against the PRC surveillance balloon's collection of sensitive information, the surveillance balloon's overflight of U.S. territory was of intelligence value to us," the official said. "I can't go into more detail, but we were able to study and scrutinize the balloon and its equipment, which has been valuable."

The balloon did not pose a military or physical threat. Still its intrusion into American airspace over several days was an unacceptable violation of U.S. sovereignty. The official said Chinese balloons briefly transited the continental United States at least three times during the prior administration.

While Chinese officials admitted that the balloon was theirs, they said it was a runaway weather balloon. "The PRC has claimed publicly that the high-altitude balloon operating above the United States is a weather balloon that was blown off course. This is false," the official said. "This was a PRC surveillance balloon. This surveillance balloon purposely traversed the United States and Canada, and we are confident it was seeking to monitor sensitive military sites."

The mission now transitions to one of recovery. There are a number of U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels establishing a security perimeter around the area where the balloon came to Earth. They are searching for debris, said a senior military official also speaking on background.

There is no estimate for how long the recovery mission will take, the military official said, but the fact that it came down in such a shallow area should make recovery "fairly easy".

The military official gave some detail of the engagement. The F-22 fired the Sidewinder at the balloon from an altitude of 58,000 feet. The balloon at the time was between 60,000 and 65,000 feet.

F-15 Eagles flying from Barnes Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts, supported the F-22, as did tankers from multiple states including Oregon, Montana, South Carolina and North Carolina. Canadian forces also helped track the overflight of the balloon.

The Navy has deployed the destroyer USS Oscar Austin, the cruiser USS Philippine Sea and the USS Carter Hall, an amphibious landing ship in support of the effort.
I simply do not trust a word out of the DoD Pentagon's mouth. Nor do I think they are apolitical anymore.

Who shot the video of it being shot down if it was truly at 60,000 feet? It looked like it was a lot lower over the ocean and the video was someone on shore or on a boat/ship?

It is sad but the Pentagon is political. So sad I have zero trust. Allowing the forced vaccinations on AD, really showed their true colors.

I have a question. If they detected this balloon over the Aleutian Islands on January 28th why did shite for brains wait until Wednesday when it got to Montana to give the order to shoot it down? Seems like there's a lot of bull shite in this article.

I agree there is a lot of BS in the article.

Plus they will lie all day long about releasing the info was a message to China. They released it and then wanted big headlines making Biden a superhero.

They (like Obama) are looking for a "tear down this wall" or GWBush 911 bullhorn moment. It won't work no matter what even if Biden stood up to Mars Attacks.

Plus, we have an admin/Pentagon (Milley) (Blinken) & IC that brown noses China. Hunter probably sold them the rights to our airspace and pops got 10% for letting them go so long across the USA.

No where does the article say Trump allowed this in the past.

The OP is a hack.

One reason. China has been doing this for years and civilians had no clue. Someone finally saw a balloon and now the government has to react to save face.

I saw and documented one of these transits during November 2020. I have pictures and my own eyes through astronomy binoculars I use.

I’m real tired of comparisons to Trump with every obviously wrong thing the current incompetent administration does.

Trump isn’t the president.

Foreign spy balloons shouldn’t be flying over our country. Our borders shouldn’t be open. If it happened 4 years ago, it was wrong then too.

Right now, the marxist clown in the oval office has not the responsibility, but the duty to fix this shite. Not Trump. The current president.

The most pitiful part of it is that no matter the issue or topic, all they do is simply figure out the worst possible way to describe Trump’s side of it, his real life Presidential experiences, and at same time conversely describe Desantis’ side as perfect. Mind you they’re merely predicting Desantis’ responses because no Presidential experience like in the case of Trump.

Trump couldn’t have done worse at (fill in the blank), and Desantis is predicted to stomp Trump on same issue. No need to even specify the issue, it’s simply a universal rule. Trump worst, Desantis best.

Bunch of damn nutcases I tell you.
