Of course, the Atlantic is owned by Steve Jobs' widow, Lauren Powell Jobs, one of the richest women in the world. But by all means, let's focus on some investment banker's Brooklyn brownstone and whether he has curtains or not.
These people usually have foil on their windows, in my experience.

If I move away from minorities, it's white flight and i'm oppressing people of color. If I move into the neighborhood, i've gentrified and i'm oppressing people of color. I just love the left

Privilege is when you have so few problems, that you are looking at who is leaving their curtains open.
150,000 isn't even a whole lot of money.

They are experts in creating lose/lose situations, so you are an awful person no matter what you do. Their assigned victims will be victims come hell or high water!

This is a crazy take, so bear with me. Maybe the whole drawing curtains thing is greatly related to the type of people that might look into your windows. Maybe, just maybe, the people in the upper income brackets don't have crackheads & homeless walking in front of their house on a daily basis.

Yep. No place for people to retire either. You live in the suburbs and you don’t have access to any of your equity. You move into a smaller place in the city and you’re a gentrifier. Move to a small town and you’re hated for raising prices there too. What’s the point of making money and succeeding in life if you have to be surrounded by people who hate you no matter what?

You can't win with them... so choose the "racist" option of just moving away from them. I finally decided that was the best option for me.
