If you work with a bunch of criminals then whoever hired them at your company needs to be thrown in jail

The Hispanics that we work with are legal and are big Trump supporters.
Most are working toward citizenship.

i think Vance laid this out pretty well on Rogan.
nobody wants to just deplete the workforce overnight.
start with known criminals and then move to make it an easier path for people that have been here in good standing that want to get visas/permits. after a certain point, you've had a chance to make things right and you've chosen not to...

one of the funnier things about this is that I'm sure the construction industry is going to lose their shite over this, but they're basically admitting that they've been breaking the law for decades out of pure selfishness.
They didn't do this for the benefit of the worker or "America." They did it because they could get away with avoiding workman's comp and a payroll tax.

frick the fat contractors that get rich hiring illegals.
I chose to retire instead of hiring subs that utilize illegal help
They have to go back

Wages go way up, work slows way down. There will be bankruptcies by those firms that relied completely on a hispanic workforce. I anticipate making a lot more money, as we never relied on immigrant labor.

I'd love to, but until then the "pay them more" plea has nothing to do with the free market.
Single men and women people aren't getting nearly the amount of welfare handouts that some people on here imagine they are. If they have some babies then yes, they gettin that paper. But with no dependents to claim they are living on a razor edge and on grandma's couch.

Exactly this. Cue the "don't break the law, a-hole" gif.

BS! It still would require someone willing to show up to work, not be a drug head, and work hard.

We are at full employment now. Other sectors would be left dry

The way they do it is the sub it out to a smaller contractor who is willing to take a 1099 and pay the illegals cash. He then claims the leftover as personal income but makes sure that he is covering his 30'ish % for his taxes at the EOY.
The large firms aren't really getting cheap labor. Just the subs who would have to raise their rates if they were on the up and up in order to keep their same margins but that could make them uncompetitive.
This is the game, and I hope everybody doing this gets burned.

But that means paying at least minimum wage
Can you name some examples of jobs not paying minimum wage? Or even close to minimum wage.

We weren’t having any trouble building houses during the housing boom. There’s been at least 10MM more illegals since then. Let’s start with those.

I only ask if those in big construction firms have discussed the contingency of losing some of those people in the short term and how they accommodate projects.
I see this affecting civil construction crews, large portions of roofing industry, restaurant industries, and many more.
Regardless it’s time to rip the bandaid off.
Stop whining. They can hire all of the laid off government bureaucrats to hammer nails and pick my strawberrier.

Mf'ers we're using illegals to wire houses at night.
I approached the State about the problem with video proof. Slap on the hand and back at it in two months time.
frick them!

Yep. It is also unfair competition practices to businesses who are following the law only hiring citizens or immigrants with work visas. Companies hiring illegals should be raked through the coals.
