Kentucky has Paul and Massie... find another state better. If they get Massie as a Senator, IMO they will stand at the top of the mountain.

I haven't been following details today.

So Massie believes the deal we have now is the best we can get. Is that correct?

IMO if Massie believes this, we have to go with Massie.

Massie is a bigtime Ron supporter. I think that's the point of this thread

Pretty stupid gotcha for only-Trumpers to go for given Biden is struggling to spend as much as Trump did.

which ... for the Always Trumpers ... other than you ... who do NOT understand ... it would be worse... and the markets would take a hit and the GOP lose 4 elections in a row. Vote for people who are electable ... and can win in November of 2024.

Massie, no matter what he's said, done, pretended to be, etc. in the past is dead wrong on this issue. And, this issue is particularly destructive to our country.

Agreed. It's extremely perplexing that he went along with this. And even gave a completely shitty and illogical justification.

Massie has two degrees from MIT. If he says it is the best we can do, it probably is.

BTW, where were you during the debt limit deals and the spending from 2017-2020? I remember getting zero. Nothing.

So, probably the most conservative House member who actually knows the Constitution supports it for the reasons I've posted the past few days ... what the he!! else do you think you are going to get?

I don’t understand what people think they can get with a 9 seat majority in one Chamber.
It’s not a good budget, but it’s better than what Biden wanted, with the benefit of him(or his staff)having to deal with the nut jobs in the Dem Caucus.
Elections, do indeed have consequences.

He states that Mitch and Chuck will send their team in, strike a deal. It will pass the senate and they will send that to the house where there will only need to be 10 people cross over to vote with dems.

And he is right about that. Love or hate the deal.... thisbis Massie's position

None of this is an issue if Mitch is replaced with America First.

We continue to see that it's not just the dems that work against the people but the GOPE.

He's the best congressman by a mile. Surprised by this but one bad vote is what it is. He thinks for himself.

You people unable to actually evaluate this for yourselves are pathetic.

And, Massie isn't stupid. He's very smart. He's just lying to you. But your willingness to let him do the thinking for you prevents you from seeing it.

And there is the disconnect ... you can NOT replace Mitch without winning elections. What some are suggesting here is NOT going to WIN elections. If TRUMP and the GOP had actually cut spending you / they would have an argument. But that did NOT happen. All the Always Trumpers talk about is we got tax cuts. So what... blew up the deficit and added to the National Debt. To suggest that after Trump is out of office is the time to take the fight is total bu!!sh!t. All that gets you is 4 losses in a row.
