Think Ron Paul did this a lot too.

This might come back to bite him on the arse.
I wouldn't be surprised if Massie ran for Turtles seat when he retires.

It is. tCult thinks they can hang everything a Desantis supporter does around Ron’s neck while ignoring the lunacy Trump’s crew does.
Their selective blinders are just amazing.
Trump's McCarthy strikes a bad deal that Trump is quietly supporting behind closed doors, and they're simultaneously trying to go at Ron because one of his endorsers is for it.
Again, just amazing.

don't think I really heard him correctly. He thinks Schumer and Turtle will negotiate and then pass a CLEAN bill???
He is saying if the house wants a say this is it.
That mitch and Schumer will strike a deal. Then there will only need 10 Republicans in the house to agree to vote for it to pass.

Nothing to do Trump or DeSantis.

The point is legit until Bitch is replaced.

The kicker with this bill is how many landmines are in it. Ie...may do something this year than next year it goes back to what is being sold as a win for Repubs by McCarthy. It's like he struck a deal with Biden that Repubs will get the short win, but the Dems will eventually get the long win, plus some.

Your TDS is forcing you to make this a Trump issue.
If Trump is supporting this deal (I seriously doubt he is), he's dead fricking wrong. Massie literally acknowledged the deal was bad and is counting on the Senate to fix it.
I know who is fighting this deal. I know who is whipping votes in support. It's clear as day.

Certainly not the enemy, but this is extremely disappointing. Massie is probably the politician that I agree with the most.
Until this, I don't know of an instance where I disagreed with him (I'm sure they exist, I am just not aware of it).
His justification is even worse. "The democrats may pass something worse, with help from shitty republicans, so let's pass this crap bill now"
That's not something that I ever envisioned Massie as saying. It's completely illogical, coming from a very logical person.
He's either been compromised, bribed, etc. This is perplexing.

Dude, neither Trump nor America First politicians are supporting this deal.
You concluded that this deal is so bad that McCarthy must be compromised yet have totally overlooked that the GOP leadership is overtly lying about what the bill actually says...promoting misleading portions of the bill that actually provide zero restraints to the Democrats and that the majority of GOP congress members are going to vote for it.

The need to put more value in who is offering an opinion vs. the opinion itself is ridiculous.
Massie, no matter what he's said, done, pretended to be, etc. in the past is dead wrong on this issue. And, this issue is particularly destructive to our country.

So, probably the most conservative House member who actually knows the Constitution supports it for the reasons I've posted the past few days ... what the he!! else do you think you are going to get?
Vote for candidate who can win.
Vote for Senators and Reps who can win.
Quit being stupid and win.

He won’t vote on the floor for it.
I listened to him on Back's show for 20 minutes this morning. He's voting for it and he thinks it was about the best deal they could possibly get under the circumstances.

YOu of course do not know what you are talking about ... MAGA and others do not know how to win.
