And there is the disconnect ... you can NOT replace Mitch without winning elections
Your suggestion that you have to compromise to win is flawed.
This is a war between the GOPE and its largest voting base. THEY decided that you won't have a vote unless they approve of the person. That fight that with money.
I am not for an empty win. That is why the Mitches are in power

WRONG ...
You have to know when you can win a battle or not and leave with your army in tack so you can win the WAR. You HAVE TO WIN THE WAR to get rid of the DEMs and the GOPe. You and others are suggesting it is better to leave your soldiers dead on the battlefield like you're John Bell Hood. That did not work so well for him in Georgia and is what would happen to the GOP if the majority was listening to your camp on this issue at this point in time.

You people unable to actually evaluate this for yourselves are pathetic.
What is pathetic are the Trumpkins, like yourself, who are acting like you care about spending. Where the frick were you guys during 2017-2020. Now all of a sudden you guys are up in arms.

Massie isn’t a bad dude but this board gives the guy too much credit

I was right here. And I agreed with Teumps move to update the military and space force.
I agreed when he tried to cut spending too.
I do not count covid because it actually happened. I do think that those responsible should held to account and recoup that money.

Surprised by this but one bad vote is what it is.
This isn't one bad vote. This is the very thing killing this country financially, moreso the people and their children than the government. This is why we needed them there. This is a HUGE bad vote that none of them seem to be serious about.

So Massie believes the deal we have now is the best we can get. Is that correct?
IMO if Massie believes this, we have to go with Massie.
The ONLY one in ALL of Congress you should look to for budgets is Rand Paul. He puts one out every year and it gets laughed under the rug everytime. Go with what Rand says.

Disappointed for sure.
But I still can’t help but remember he was the lone voice of reason during the first mega covid stimulus bill.
And maybe one of the few people who can’t be blamed for the inflation we have endured the last three years or so.

By losing battles with them?

Trumps boy McCarthy is the one that crafted the deal. So shut the hell up JjGoebbels.
