And CDC reporting 74% of positive covids ALWAYS wore their masks, 14% usually wore one. Combine this with 6% reportedly never wore their mask.

Masks are fricking stupid and I won’t wear one unless I absolutely have to, but don’t repeat this to try to say that 74% of all Covid cases wore masks. First, it was only like 200 and something people in that study. Next, it’s not a percentage of people who wore masks who got Covid vs percentage of people who got Covid who don’t wear masks. It’s reasonable to say that the majority of folks are wearing masks now. So it would stand to reason that a majority of the people who get infected would be those who wear masks. At worst, it is something to say that the rates of infection are likely the same with masks vs without masks. But it’s not saying that more people, percentage wise, get Covid by wearing masks.
