This looks like sort of a draw to me. Let them fight it out.

That might be better for the world and the middle east.
If it turns out one underestimated the other, lesson learned.
But to jump in, in the middle of a fair fight started by your guy. It's just not cool.
We already have our hand on the scale with the missle defense we are giving.

A draw? Iran has lost a large amount of key personnel while Israel keeps taking random hits from rocket attacks. Precision strikes are far more damaging than random ones.

There is no such thing as a fair fight in a war where civilians are dying. The only good war is one that is over quick. If the US can help end it quickly, then by all means, do so.

I agree but I think POTUS hesitation is these ballistic missile barrages hitting US bases in the Middle East. Israel is going to have to really degrade their missile capability, otherwise our bases are sitting ducks.
