Poor poor Catholics

How many thousands of Protestant believers were persecuted, tortured and killed because of the Catholic Church

I don't think Protestants have room to talk. Not only did Protestants persecute Catholics, they also persecuted other Protestants.

Dude, why would I apologize for anything?

That would be like us apoligizing for Biden and none of us did that.

So you want Trump to support heretical doctrine just to win an election? I guess you consider the earthly realm more important than the heavenly one.

The Catholic Church has supported politicians like Pelosi and Biden despite their pro-abortion stances. Maybe Catholics need to worry more about the soul of their church than Trump calling out hypocritical stances of the pope.

Clearly, you are not Catholic. People aren't Catholic because of who a bunch of other people elect as Pope. That is not the main tenants of Catholicism, and if you think it is, then you are showing your ignorance. There are many Catholics, including myself, that have called out the Pope's bullshite.

I for one am so very glad this board has someone such as you. Someone so strong and knowledgable and unshakable in your faith, that you can sit there and call another heretical. Very, very devote of you.

Jesus must be overjoyed with you.

Popes are human beings just like the rest of us. There have been some absolute legends to sit on the Chair of St. Peter and there have been some absolute bastards. That's what happens when your institution goes back two millennia. You are going to get the best and worst humanity has to offer.

shite, King David was described by the Bible as a man who was after God's heart, yet that didn't stop him from having his best friend killed in battle so he could take his wife for himself.

Leo is a very young Pope that will be reminded for the rest of his life that he should not have gone political . Will have a lifelong credibility deficiency

I'll be honest, I'm glad you're not one either. We don't need people like you in the faith. Just go give some Joel Osteen type more money for a new jet and that should set you up.

I offer no apology for anything. The Pope is against war. Perhaps giving Creflo Dollar some monthly tithes will get him saying he's all for it.

pretty much this.

Although, the latter is happening a lot more lately. It's very noticeable and I think sheds some light on some personal insecurities held by non catholics. They seem easy to be manipulated.

You do realize that, in addition to being the head of the Catholic Church, the pope is also a head of state? Being political is part of his job description. Pope John Paul II came out vehemently against the Iraq War in 2003, Pope Paul VI was a strong vocal critic of the Vietnam War, and Pope Benedict XV worked tirelessly behind the scenes to get both sides to cease fire in the First World War.
