It's always a great week to be catholic. Christ paid our debt on the cross and rose again on the third day. We get to not only be in the presence of the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ, we get to be in communion with Him through the Eucharist.

Is it ever a "good week" for Catholism?
That's kind of like saying November of 1978 was just a bad month for the Jim Jones’ Peoples Temple in Guyana.

Just now noticed the popes are often commies?
Well this pope has quite the social media history on this particular subject.

I am packing right now to go to my first ACTs retreat from Avoyelles parish. I am fixing to reboot my catholic faith. I can’t wait. It’s gonna be a great week for me to be a Catholic.

I'm catholic, and not apologizing for shite... I don't always agree what the church does... Glad your church is so perfect in your eyes...
You should've been around during the Crusades...

A lot of them vote democrat. Hispanic Catholics vote dem. So Catholics have been expanding the dem voter base here for decades.
AND YET MOST ARE MORE SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE.. The Republican messaging to Hispanics has been awful. We made headway but Trump will set that back for decades to come...
I am married into a massive Mexican family. Many were Republican, but man they have turned . They are PISSED.

Amen, I am so lucky to be Catholic. The freedom that comes with it really is remarkable. To be in the presence of the living God is a gift the church gives us... I was a SBC protestant and my faith was just based on emotions or my interpetations, not depth. But being in communion with the living God and being in the true body of Christ is a gift.

Huh... I'm lucky to be redeemed by Christ. I happen to be Baptist, but I'm lucky to be redeemed by Christ.

It’s such a WEAK move to be a Christian putting other Christians on blast. Being a Christian is a rough ride in this culture- attacks and ridicule coming so fast and furious from every corner of the dominant secular society. Not what Christ would really want for his children, imho. I think we are better when we are aligned and focused on His message to us.

Made it through my family declaring I was going to hell. HAhaha, but it was the best decision I ever made.

Awesome, I am redeemed also, I just get to experience him at a depth that is not possible in your church... The Eucharist is the key.

I agree, but the Catholic faith is mocked and slammed constantly on this board. This makes Catholics respond.

As strong as Trump. He has spoke out against Nigeria and other tragic events. He has no army, what can he do?

Worse week to be a heretical Evangelical

It's always great to be Catholic.
Secularists and protestants throwing stones is very much to be expected. Jesus warned us about that. Saint Paul encourages us to persevere to the end. As does Saint Peter in his challenge to stand firm in faith.
I start as many of my days off as possible by receiving Jesus in Eucharist. Nothing could be a better way to start your day and live. I need to do a better job if retaining those graces God has given me and not giving them away so easily by coming here and getting sucked into the filth of useless argument. It does none of us any good.

Every week is a good week to be a Catholic.

If you simply put your faith in Jesus alone you don’t have to answer for any institution or leadership.
