So what’s your reasoning as to Trump’s motives underlying that scenario, i.e. that he’s so proactively trying to fool or deceive “the vast majority of Merica?” Surely you wouldn’t just drop such a strong conclusion like that without having first even figured out why.

And P.T. Barnum’s motives and goals were business oriented every time. He was actively selling one thing or another to derive monetary gain, he was working to make money and compile more wealth - not unlike everyone else who has a job to make money. This is where it’s also of note that I remind you that Trump declined to even take a personal salary as President and instead donate it to charity.
