This country will always be opposed to God. Satan hated that America was built on Christian values so he attacked it and won over most of the people by giving them plenty of perverse vices. God have them over to their sins and knows that those that are His will remain His.
As the apostle Paul wrote several time in his letters of sinful people, correct them once or twice then have nothing to do with them.
I take that to mean a God fearing person has much to lose by flirting with a sinful person even if it is to try and help them.
This country and the most of the people in it are a stumbling block to followers of Christ.
