He also let governors make decisions so it’s not like he was out here shutting everything down himself. The spending sucked but again, he’d have never won another election if he didn’t do it because the media and the left would have the entire country ready to murder him for not helping.
If all this is correct and Trump knew better but had to go along because he feared retribution, all you're saying is Trump failed to drain the swamp and succumbed to it. If you're right then Trump couldn't measure up to the globalists when it mattered most.
eta: He also pushed the vaccine long after the election was over and he was out of office.

Trump warned everyone that a Biden administration would be installed via massive, determinative fraud, and would result in loss of standing in geopolitical matters, damned-near WWIII, runaway inflation, etc. Some people believed him.

It was obvious then and now. Trump was running for re-election. The media was and will always be hostile against a Republican, more so for Trump. He couldn’t fire fauci or Birx, because he would have been blamed for every death from the China virus, which he was anyway but it would have been worse. The media let cuomo, whitmer, Murphy and other Demorat governor go for putting infected into nursing homes and killing vulnerable people, pumping up the numbers. To this day, there is no accountability and in all likelihood whitmer wins re-election in Michigan with lack of coverage and accountability.
Trump was in a no win position.
Maybe in retrospect, he could fire them and open things up. Maybe there would not have been mail in ballots and drop boxes all over god’s creation, and maybe he wins without widespread fraud and corruption and theft.

Pure Leftist propaganda designed to counter Trumps exceptional success across the board, economic and security, National and International. Hell, why didn’t he fire Meuller per your context? I’m saying that Trump did an excellent job and that is why THEY DrOPPED the Covid bomb in his lap. No way they could beat him otherwise. Killed a lot of vulnerable people, some my friends. They knew given the dynamics he’d have to go along. Just like with the corrupt Meuller BS. Trump is not a politician, he cuts straight deals to build stuff. You can’t build a Tower in the middle of NYC and be a gullible idiot. There is no way we’d be facing war and serious supply issues if he were still there. Hitler was at least up front re his Fascist/Racist belief and he exalted his People and Nation instead of conspiring to take both down. Nws he was a sociopathic. Not so much for the Dems. They are taking this Nation down. Period!
