There was a summit in Atlanta called REVOLT and Candice Owens attended it

"Moderated" by Jeff Johnson. Arguably one of the most hatred filled, racists people I've ever heard speak.
I listened to his commentary this morning about this "Summit".
He talks out of both sides of his head. "We're thankful that Owens decided to join the panel. We need to hear both sides of this political landscape" All they did was shout her down. TI especially. Anytime she tried to say anything,answer any question she was interrupted and shouted down,often times viciously with vulgarities thrown at her.
I can appreciate what she tried to do but nobody on the Republican side needs to cater to these whackos.

The prosperity, societal discipline and family stability of the 40's-60's but without the racism.
That's not difficult to figure out when you're not blinded by hatred and bias.

These guys just enjoy being angry and hateful. It gets them attention and makes them feel powerful because they think they can use victimhood as an excuse for shite behavior, while dissenters (especially whites and uncle toms) aren't supposed to be allowed to dissent, because the "excuse" is supposed to be based on some made up notion of righteous justice.
They believe they can be racist, vulgar, and hateful, and are entitled to bully anyone who disagrees with them.

I saw some of KIller Mikes comments and I was very disappointed in how he seemed to demand government provide for him and the black community. I thought he was more self reliant then that.

It's a trick question. Great =/= Perfect. Name any country at any time and I can find *something* to bitch about. If America isn't great, no country in human history is.
What's the point of that sort of metric?

There's actually a cable channel called that, going only on the show titles you could get that garbage 24/7. (It's a few channels down from the Hallmark Channel -- you know, the one which beats CNN in the ratings showing nothing but chick flicks and Christmas films)

You are not one of the usual crew who starts a new thread about the same topic, because the first one did not go as they expected or hoped.
If you watched the full hour, you are ahead of 95% of those expressing an opinion. Kudos.

Killer Mike was on JRE and he seemed not to be a down the line "black activist". He's a gun owner and 2nd Amend guy. If anyone is interested here's the youtube link: LINK
