I've leaned right because I'm a fiscal conservative. I didn't vote for Trump and still oppose him to this day because he is extremely liberal when it comes to government spending.
But look at the alternative. Did you vote for Hillary?

But I’m curious, do you think voting dem will make America better? It’s clear the majority of them want open borders and are moving towards socialism. It’s clear their plan is divide and conquer. It’s clear they support propaganda as a tactic to manipulate and brainwash the people. It’s clear they have no problem with breaking laws and looking the other way when it suits them. It’s clear they attempted to overthrow the 2016 election. It’s clear they lie and then project all of their misdeeds and crimes onto the opposing party. It’s clear they care more about letting men into girls’ bathrooms and letting unchecked Muslims into the country more than the safety of Americans. It’s clear they want to do away with the second amendment.
It's also why nothing ever changes in this country; the establishment marches on with its agenda, while the useful idiots fight over which "side" is at fault.

I whole heartedly agree.

I've been glad to see that spending is a main issue for the people who have responded
Candidly, I also think that his foreign-policy as a whole was a shite show.

There were more than two choices.

The only thing so far that has bothered me is the Ethanol he is trying to push right now. Holy crap that is dumb.

Name one policy decision Trump has made that is anti 2nd Amendment.

Perhaps you did not bother to read the OP.
The perception of Trump having no moral compass obviously leads into a comparison as to perceived morals or a perception of morality in the 1st place. For instance: The morality of assassinating journalists with the SA embassy in Turkey thing. Obviously within the morality of SA, not within American morality. Or, beheading enemies in much of the ME is within their morality, but not ours. Morals/morality is a personal, or community, or cultural, perception there is no "Universal Truth" so a comparison is valid if his "moral compass" is complained about.

Tax cuts do not add to the deficit and you are smart enough to know that.
I agree , he should have vetoed the spending bill he signed last year though.

I disagree completely
He is the most patriotic American president we’ve had in 100 years, he loves America

Yes I did. I believe her economic strategy was better than Trump's simply because she had a plan to pay for what she was proposing. Trump's plan is to pay for his proposals with debt and bank on corporate America sharing the wealth from the tax cuts. Our economy will suffer in the long run and I think we're starting to see that now. On average, wages have remained the same despite record breaking corporate gains.

The "smart" Democrats who could make rational arguments and maybe even work with Republicans on a few issues have been scared into silence and or outright compliance by the mob mentality of the lunatic left.
Problem is no one is discussing issues anymore. Just picking sides and screaming specific talking points. It's frustrating.
There are definitely very intelligent Progressives out there, but being intelligent (Left or right) doesn't make one socially aware. Politics are a social topic, and many intelligent people don't have a very high social IQ.
I rarely, if ever, see people discussing issues. It's all emotional drivel that cannot be logically argued for or against.

Of course. Isn't everyone who opposes Trump automatically more intelligent? They must be.
Liberals love to hijack the intellectual high ground- despite 90% of their urban strongholds being public education wastelands.

I can see that.

lolwhat?
Not only the country, but the WORLD is safer because of his foreign policy.

How on Earth would you POSSIBLY know what Hillary wanted, let alone how she intended to pay for them? She spent literally the entire campaign doing nothing but screaming about how terrible and awful Trump was. It was TRUMP who talked policy during the campaign not Hillary.
I bet you can't find a single clip or quote of her actually describing how she would pay for anything during her campaign.
I mean obviously we instinctively know that a Democrat President would have championed raising taxes, but that sure the hell doesn't equate to "explained how she would pay for the programs she wanted"
I am so sick of dumb people.

This is true, and it's reaching a dangerous tipping point. I mean when you can't even get a side to agree that evidence matters when deciding on whether someone should get a job or not you have a real problem on your hand.
I don't 100% blame the left, but they have taken things to an entirely different level. Any reasonable person knows, for example, that chasing people down the street and wailing on their car is wrong, but you sure don't see many liberals simply stating that , do you. They almost to a person respond this way "okay maybe that wasn't the best thing to do , but................."
And that is dangerous. When you can't even speak out against violence from those on "your side"

Why policy? I didn't say he's made those policies, did I. I said he's weak AF on the Second Amendment, and that's completely accurate. The Second Amendment has been eroded for years. Anything less than reversing a lot of that bullshite is weak AF.
I know Trump loves to run his mouth at rallies and he's able to convince his Betas that he's a big supporter of the Second Amendment. Here's a little insight into what your boy actually thinks about the Second Amendment:
quote:
"Take the firearms first and then go to court.
"I like taking the guns early, like in the crazy man's case... take the guns first, go through due process second."
