Yeah, having a unique president cannot change the inner dynamics of politics that have been explanding power for over 200 years. But it's fun to watch how that uniqueness is making govt go ape shite crazy. The Dems are trying to sell Trump's uniquess as 'CHAOS!' Old ladies will vote to return to 'normal.' In the meantime I'm having fun watching his opponents freak out.

Then please help me understand your position. FEDGOV takes our money at an outrageous rate. They overspend and create problems at great deficits and then claim they alone can fix them but it will require MORE of our money taken at outrageous rates. The problems not only get worse, but more are created. That will then require MORE of our money taken at outrageous rates.
I don’t know what this is officially called, but a good name would be the “circular-corrupt-incompetent-bullshite-theft paradox”.
Now, explain your take if you would.
With the combination of fraud, waste, mismanagement and corruption, I think the federal government could run with 1/3 of the money currently collected if that was cleaned up.

Here is a very simple foundation of the problem you have “identified”:
1. The federal reserve prints money (creates money), in which the govt “borrows”, so whether or not the govt is collecting money through taxation, they WILL have money
2. Since we took the dollar off gold in ‘72, we can borrow money at unlimited measures, which has increased spending at rampant measures, and allowed our MIC to expand whenever we want.
The above two points are irrefutable, and not understood by the average American or poster on this board.

Place that money in the hands of local and state levels and there would be much more and much better oversight, I'd assume.
Except in Minnesota, California, and other Dem strongholds.

Exactly… only thing unique is Trump’s lack of decorum… policy wise he just like Bush but surrounded by people not as smart

You first have to get people out of the trap of believing that because their team has the ball that somehow makes the Federal Government trustworthy. Far too many people are willing to put aside or ignore their distrust in the Fed as soon as the bad guys don't have control. That is a fatal flaw. The Federal Government is a constant evil in this story, a tiger that never changes its stripes, and it should never be trusted or celebrated, nor should concessions be made or power be ceded to it, just because for this snapshot in time a guy you like is running the show.

There are more independents/non committed than Republicans or Democrats.
The problem is the current media model promotes extremism. both left and right.

Don't care, haven't the slightest clue. This isn't a concern, to be honest.

This seems pretty fricking clear, and far, far, far, from where we are now:

Never gonna happen. Thanks Lincoln!

It's actually short on money and long on debt.
