Sounds like an interesting class to me, this board should be example #1 in this class. Y'all are more emotional than most women I know (pro tip: rage is an emotion, probably the biggest one in fact).

Trump has been given a pass for so many things that would disqualify anyone else in American history because his supporters are so angry about their lives and they're willing to overlook everything as long as the people they blame are harmed or upset.

But what is a male?

Here's the problem with the course:

It forecloses inquiry. There's no need for an investigation into the research question because the question has already been answers. You're being taught what to think rather than exploring the topic to see what you find.

Higher education, particularly in the humanities, needs to be focused on guiding students into composing original arguments with insightful commentary built on scholarly research, logical reasoning, and rhetorical efficacy.

So when the course has already concluded that it's "angry white males," you're just giving students readings and assignments that ensure they finish the course with a belief on white males.

If I were creating the course (and I am a college instructor), I would make the topic: "Reactions and Emotions to Cultural Change." You can give students historical readings about the feminist movement, Black cultural critique, and inclusion of non-normative sexuality. Then let them research and argue what the emotional reactions have been.

Maybe some of them find evidence that white males were particularly angry. Maybe some of them find that Latinos have been excluded and neglected in cultural movements. Maybe some of them find that Asians live in fear. Maybe some of them see that Black women are stereotyped as angry but experience joy.

You let the students figure out the conclusion because that's what they're there to do: inquire, investigate, research, argue, and conclude.

Will there also be the “low IQ, loud, obnoxious, and entitled angry black woman” class?

Or about the “self-righteous, gullible, and angry white woman” class?

What about a “predatory, low-impulse control, angry black man” class?

Why do they start with 1950? That's when males became docile after WWII, got married, bought a house in this new thing called 'the suburbs'. Husbands got a job so wife could stay home and bitch about her life all day due to this new invention called 'the rotary dial telephone.' And with all the new kitchen inventions she could pretend to be a good cook.
