I don't know why he takes such a simplistic view of the world with only binary choices
I got the impression during the interview he was arguing exactly against this and Ted agreed too.

AIPAC is the only reason Ted is able to get elected. He’s owned

In fact I think the content of virtually all political commentators and influencers reflects less any actual belief system and more the content they think is most profitable at a given point in time. Part of that means regularly being controversial, but not too controversial.
He has a new character now that he created and he will play it as long as its profitable.

I’m not sold on us going to war with anyone but Tucker trying to make a mark with the population “gotcha” question is as weak as it gets. It’s irrelevant whether Cruz knows the population of Iran.
I’m embarrassed for Tucker
I already knew the answer, it's a basic detail. I was pointing it out here yesterday before the interview dropped. The population is more than Iraq and Afganistan combined.
They also do not have terrain like Iraq. It's like Afganistan but much worse. All mountains.
Tehran also isn't close to the Persian Gulf. It's near the Capsian Sea to the north which also borders Russia. It's impossible to put a real embargo on them. More like Vietnam/Korea.

You have to register if there is any potential that the activity could be deemed activism on part of that nation.
As it notes there it was just related to an appearance a representative of Qatar made on his show.
It doesn’t mean he accepted money and he’s stated on many occasions that he didn’t.

This was like watching my 2 brothers argue politics at Christmas.

I find it interesting that Tucker has opinions and uses words and apologized throughout when he was wrong.
Ted Cruz helps form policy and spends money for those policies and didn't apologize once.

Going to fricking war should be the hardest and most serious decision that any politician will have to weigh in on. So if you are confident enough of your position to support a war against another country, you should know every damn thing about that country: population (especially male fighting population), ethnic and other social groups (who will be unfairly negaitvely impacted by the war and who could be potential allies), geography (land mass, resources, terrain), etc etc. To be so flippant and act like asking these details is just a gotcha game shows how far the Military Industrial Complex has pushed society in the wrong direction.

The population of Iran is 3% Etatist Kleptocrats that control everything and the other 97% that could overthrow them but do nothing.
Sound familiar?

How the fk is it not relevant to know how many people will be in danger and shouldn’t we know where 90M people will be displaced too?? Or you just want to murder all of them?
I wouldn’t care if there were 50mil or 200mil
None of it has anything to do with the threat that is being contemplated

As someone who voted for Ted in 2012 and has voted for him twice in senate elections, this interview was atrocious for him. Absolutely embarrassing

Wow, you have fully swallowed war and patriot propaganda. We're back in 2003.
On edit, I just jumped in late in it and Ted did hammer Zelensky.
A lot of these guys have Fox News on 24/7

That banker you mention is named Omeed Malik and he was born in New Jersey from what I’ve seen.
Here is his wiki bio:
“ before joining MF Global and later Bank of America Merrill Lynch to run the prime brokerage business and to lead the emerging manager program.[6][7] Malik left Bank of America in January 2018 to launch an advisory firm for hedge funds and alternative investment managers.[7]”
He also apparently helped fund the Daily Caller (center right website) and the other guy you mentioned his last name is Patel (not paki) and he worked for Dick Cheney under GWB.
Not exactly Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers.

I think Tucker is a grifter but he got some good shots in on Cruz.
