I don’t support murderers. I don’t care if they are hood rats, Asians, Latinos, or even rich country club types. If Karmelo wants to blame anyone for his situation he should start with his worthless parents

Don't have a knife with you.
Don't go into a rival school's tent with the knife.

Typical leftist. Twist the truth or outright lie.

He will not spend his entire adult life in prison.

Until there are consequences for such behavior, things will continue to spiral out of control.

No matter the upbringing, the court of last resort to make up for parental malpractice is we the people.

There are several that should be ignored so they can go away.

You feed his sociopathy every time your reply to his bullshite.

People like that get off on events like this. This is the equivalent of a leftist spiking the football. He's glad Metcalf was killed by a foot soldier. Now it is time to rub it in your face and the face of the family.

“ Neither are those who are trying to make this more than it warrants.”(quote NC)

Sadly, NC, this is not the case. Look to the UK/Ireland scenario to see where this minority-based racism and the violence therein, goes, if not addressed as an issue of major importance.

It is far more dangerous than Iran, that is for sure. And maybe even on a par with a VERIFIABLE vote as a driving force for civil unrest.

You definitely can't say he was "poor" but you can always have a troubled life with money. Look at that mom he has. Can't tell me that is a bundle of fricked up parenting. No amount of money is going to fix evil parents.

Bill Clinton said we all be a lot happier if “we just listened to each other.”

I agree with this.

Maybe KA's family should have listened when Austin's dad asked for a dialogue and talked about forgiveness before being tossed from a press conference.

They chose this. Karmelo chose his actions, first, then followed it up with more punk denials, cries of victimhood, and zero accountability.

The window for 'talk' has closed.

The fact Mellow will now spend his adult life in prison and one more life is “lost” is sad. The fact there are issues at play that led to him not having a father in the house is sad. The fact he felt the need to carry a knife is sad. I’m just taking stock of the unfortunate nature of the entire situation. It was all needless, but the hate doesn’t help. You can decry what he did and also have compassion for him. This is what the Bible teaches, actually.

1) I don’t give a damn about “Mellow”, and I don’t give a damn that he’ll spend his adult life in prison. I’m only sad that they didn’t give him the death penalty. I’m curious, why change up his name? Trying to make him sound gentler/kinder? That’s propaganda.

2) “One more life is lost is sad”. I’m not sad about the murderer, I’m only sad and disgusted that a life of an innocent person was needlessly taken.

3) “Issues at play that led him to not having a father in the house is sad”…blame democrats since LBJ, blame the black community as a whole, blame the sperm donor, blame the momma for getting knocked up and irresponsible. Plenty of blame to go around that no one will accept.

4) Who carries a knife to a track meet? Is it true he had been in trouble for previously having a weapon at school and shouldn’t have even been at the track meet? It’s “sad that he felt the need to carry a knife”? I’m 65. Pretty much guy I went to HS with carried a knife. Teachers would ask for a knife during class to open something, pretty much every guy offered theirs up. Pretty much every guy in my HS had guns in their vehicle in the parking lot. We didn’t randomly shoot or stab people.

5) I don’t have compassion for him, or his grifting, race baiting parents. My compassion is reserved for the family who truly lost a son/brother, not a group of grifters who used donations from pathologically stupid people to buy a SUV, move into a $900,000 house in a gated community, abandoned their son during his sentencing, and tried convincing more stupid people to donate even more money while they flip the race card.

6) It’s sad and pathetic that you try using the Bible to justify your twisted logic.
