There are going to be multiple October surprises.

They’re going to have to rename the October surprise. They have one for every month of the year x 4 years. Have to go to the Greek alphabet like they do with hurricanes.

The Trump Tax Returns illustrate three primary things:

1) No unreported connections to Russia

2) MSM Journos & DNC Hacks do NOT understand how running a business and managing assets works tax-wise. Or any-wise.

3) Unlike Biden, President Trump didn't profit from his office.

Not sure under what circumstances that could occur but that's a 100% chance of being audited. Have they said (made up) what year that took place?

Wouldn;t it be illegal for anyone to actually have his tax returns in the first place? I'm struggling with how the NYT can throw this out there, fail to cite sources or provide details, and then people accept it as the holy grail.

Yes! I've stated it several times on PT. ....If anyone thinks Obama didn't have his tax returns 4 years ago, then they would be utter fools, their feet stink and the don't love Jesus. Obama weaponized every 'alphabet agency. in the Fed Gov.....The IRS being one of them.

What stupid logic.

Not to mention intellectually dishonest.

What about the ethics involving the Bidens and Ukraine, China and Russia?

CommieHank: But that wasn’t illegal!!

Coffee shops and safe spaces all over the country are talking about this. They've been masturbating over his tax returns since he ran in 2015.

The rest of us are working today and not giving a frick.

There is no such thing as a tax "loophole".

It's either a lawful accounting or it isn't.

The only reason why this gets under Trump's skin is because his returns would expose that he really isn't worth nearly as much as he says he is. It's all tied to his massive ego. Most voters really don't give a shite.

The funny part is even though it is nothing burger, it could be a big deal but the fake news media bites so hard on fakes like this that no one cares.

The TDS has turned non commie Americans against the news media.

Maybe but the majority of his net worth is in RE and those numbers are easily verified and I am pretty sure he has to disclose his debts on those holdings. Not sure how much his returns would hurt his perceived net worth.

You know who has his tax returns? The IRS. If Trump were breaking the law he would’ve been prosecuted already

Yep no doubt. The NYT should be grilled if they actually ha e the returns and then forced to give up the source or face massive fines which we know they can’t pay

Mr. Maddow ruined any chance they ever had of his taxes being an issue. Even if she hadn't, it would still be a nothingburger.

The source has ties to Obama and his Trump spying. That's why they are protecting him at all costs.

It's always the same.

Allegations and information from "anonymous sources".
24/7 media frenzy and attack
New info shows story to be complete BS
Not a peep in the media

They count on low-information voters taking the initial media blitz as gospel truth and not digging to actually find out the facts. It probably works. Let's be honest...in a sane world, Joe Biden would have already lost this election by a huge margin.

Is there a shred of evidence there is even anything real behind these articles?

I somewhat agree, but he is still worth 2-3 billion. Worth/wealth is different than income. you pay taxes on income, not wealth.

Also understand he has lost a shite ton running for president.

I, being an extreme conservative/liberterian, dont always agree with him( I do mostly on policy as he is the most liberterian president in a long arse time) and many times I think he is just trolling. And I and almost everyone I know understand this is a big nothing burger.

Hell half the time I agree with Hank, and his statement is not incorrect that people are going to read into things based off the tax returns such as charity contributions.

But

1) this is not his damn tax returns, ITs the NYT saying they have them and we must believe them.

2) they claim he only paid 750 for 16&17, well he didnt take a damn salary and almost everything he has is setup to not be income for him. No shite he only paid that, in fact I am surprised he paid that.

3) the most important thing, or at least top 3, concerning politics in a return, is his charitable contributions. If they have the returns, why not release this section. Lets see how much and where he donates....they wont because they either dont have them and are lying or it will make him look good.

4) if he had business ties to Russia or other shady regimes as they have said for the last 4 years, they would release that page if they had the returns...either they do not have them or it shows nothing.

5) they claim he hasnt paid taxes 10 of the 15 years....well if you understand how taxes work in real estate....its not a huge surprise that someone that owns the type of real estate he does allows for this.

6) the lack of understand how taxes work for someone like him is flabbergasting to me. number 1 is that donald trump the man, is not the same as the trump orginization, #2 is the lack of understanding that people in his position don't draw a salary like a typical worker or a ceo of small firm.

This is why he didnt want them released, the publics lack of understanding is astounding. Most people in this country cant do their own taxes when it involves a simple standard deduction, including most journalist. So we have journalist, who in general as on the low end of IQ when it comes to college grads, telling the american people what to think about something they do not understand themselves.

I am fricking sorry...but someone that only takes college algebra, 1 basic accounting class and 1 basic econ class should not be explaining to the american people what to think about a complicated tax return like Trump has. Its fricking illogical that someone with a total of 9 credit hours in anything resembling math is explaining to the american public how to interrupt something that is put together by some of the best accounts in the united states.

also stupid that people and other outlets take the NYT at their word that they have the returns. Release them and let people decide for themselves if you have them. I dont need a bunch of people with an average IQ below 100 telling me how and what to think.
