We know exactly what it is. They oppose Trump, they are openly preventing his administration from exerting control over government agencies, they are purposely obfuscating his agenda, and they are purposely directing campaign funds to defeat Trump-aligned candidates in the midterms instead of attempting to expand Republican majorities so they can keep their status as key votes and keep Trump’s agenda from becoming law. They know that all of Trump’s executive orders can be instantly undone by a future president, but legislation is far more difficult to reverse. So, they’re effectively waiting Trump out until there’s a new president.

I heard someone on a news show say that Reagan had approximately 200 recess appointments and Trump doesn't have a single one......hmmmmm.

How about they just nominate someone and get a hearing in the ordinary course?

What I am puzzled about is how when I say the republicans do not have a majority in congress, I still get heckled.

I haven’t understood why this hasn’t gained more attention.

Trump should be hammering them on X every single day about this shite. They’re all in on it. They rotate on who will lead the pro-forma session.

Every last one of them that participates should be put on blast.

Republicans do move in lockstep - against Trump. They are basically all the same and no one wants that money train to stop

The fact that they oppose Trump is all you need to know about Trump. There will never be another Trump. It’s a shame some care more about fringe issues than the betterment of the nation

You think more of the same is going to move the needle? He just hasn't insulted enough people on X for them to come around but if he calls more people "low IQ" things will come around?

I wish congress was functional and they own plenty of blame, but Trump plays a part in this dysfunction. A lot of people love him owning folks on social media, being bombastic, Mr IDGAF. Guess what? There's a price for that entertainment, and if he didn't figure it out in his first term I doubt he's going to now.
