The republicans want to lose the mid terms

This is how the government works. Keeps going back and forth and don’t do squat. Why would a super majority congress not pass the SAVE America Act? Because they have no interest in saving America. They’re all accumulating millions of dollars each. They’re all corrupt. They’re all anti American. They’re an embarrassment to what we learned America should be in the 50s and 60s. No ethics no morals. No one striving to be extraordinary. Congress is one big waste and you can better believe the the dark government are running everything. Pathetic cowards and crooks.

The GOP doesn’t have a super majority. A supermajority is a 2/3 majority in both houses, aka a veto-proof majority, and also the one necessary for passing constitutional amendments and convicting officials on impeachment charges.
The GOP has an extremely narrow majority in both houses, with far too slim a margin to overcome the 60 vote threshold in the Senate to end Filibusters.
The GOP does have a super majority on the SCOTUS, but there are enough swing votes that the staunch conservatives still often lose.

I've been watching politics for over 40 years now, since early 20s. I honestly believe that even if GOP had a super majority in both houses, they still would not get stuff done. Prime example is the SAVE act.
I've come to the realization that GOP doesn't really want to be "in charge". Because if you are "in charge", then you are responsible and accountable. They would much prefer to continue to go to cocktail parties hosted by lobbyists and eat nice dinners at very nice restaurants around DC. Take 3-4 "fact finding" trips (Vacations) at taxpayer expense to various places around the world. Continue to enrich themselves personally during their tenure in Congress.

Duh. They can't raise campaign money from a position "help us continue what we've been doing" because they dont do jack shite
They also allowed a couple of senate seats to fall with extended mail-in vote counting in 2024 because they needed their margin to be "slim".
Having a "slim" majority allows them to sit on their hands and say "well we cant do anything TOO extreme or we might lose in 2026" -- which they will do anyway.
Ive said it before.. Trump's 2nd term is going to crush Republican enthusiasm because voters just handed you a mandate and a complete majority and you have done NOTHING with it outside of executive orders that will be undone immediately

This is why I think its so funny to see people treat dem/repub like team sports.
These geriatrics are all friends. They play political theater for 4-6 months out of the year, laugh at magas and blue hairs fighting each other, then go home, collect their royalties from lobbyists and Israel, and call it a day.

Who took away the power of the OMB to review all spending of the budget and instead dictated that all money approved in a budget must be spent, must be spent, no matter how ridiculous?
No term limits, no legal voting rights, its all to ensure nothing happens.....other than more money being borrowed and spent.

Politics is a business for them. It’s how they make a living. They could give a frick about governing.
Everyone gets all worked up over who the POTUS is, but congress IS THE PROBLEM.
Why do you think the GOP aren’t serious about securing our elections? They need a rigged system to keep the grift going. They take turns.
