They are actively seeking another accuser. Every second the vote is postponed gives them time to pay off someone to bring forward another accusation. And don't think for second that half the Republicans in the Senate wouldn't secretly toast this derailment if it were negative for Donald Trump.

Grassley is a pussy and deserves to be relieved of his seat on the SJC.

The Dems have him by the balls and everyone knows it. He's either completely inept or he's in on this.

No, I think most Senate Republicans care enough about the country that they want to see Kavanaugh confirmed regardless. Their problem is they don't hate Democrats enough. That is a problem the next generation of Republicans will not have.

Just call the fricking vote to chambers you worthless bunch of cucks!

I really feel sorry for Kavanaugh and his family. I know he signed on for this political morass going back to Ken Starr and later in W’s admin, but damn, I don’t think he (and certainly not his wife and kids) enlisted for this kind of awfulness. He’s really had a stellar judicial career. God. (Yes. I’m a lawyer and I’m biased.)

I'm at a point where I'm about to go full TX Tiger. This shite ain't right, and I say that as a libertarian who was not thrilled with Kavanaugh's nomination. But Republicans are accessories in the public defamation of a man and his family. They are allowing this woman and her attorneys to dictate the schedule of the upper house of Congress, simply because of a fear of political fallout. Disgraceful.

Grassley’s tweet only said he has granted an “extension.” No date was specified that I saw.

The Republican Party gives her an indefinite extension of time to get herself together and agree to testify.

This is just another page in the Democrat rule book. "Rules For Radicals" a book written and devoted to Satan.

The "next generation of Republicans" will likely be a minority in Congress for awhile UNLESS Republicans move away from Trumpism and the rising authoritarianism in the Far Right.

No, the liberals are goading the Republicans into telling this woman "enough, you're shite out of luck," so the Dems can turn around and tell white suburban women about how awful these old, white Republican men treated this poor, helpless woman.

And it's working. They either take the bait or become totally paralyzed.

The 19th Amendment was a big mistake.

No, their problem is that 80% of them are in the same governing uniparty that has enjoyed the benefits of government service and become rich from their lobbyists and donors, not to mention our own tax dollars. There is a reason that there will never be term limits for senators or representatives. Almost all of them are looking for personal benefit and enrichment. Why else would anyone want to deal with the daily hassle of that piece of shite swamp?

On a side note, trump should introduce our next bill that he wants to pass through Congress. Term limits for senators and representatives. In exchange for terms for supreme court judges.

Would that pass? I say no, but it's an interesting offer. It would reveal a lot of our congressman's true intentions.

The woman refused to tell her story under oath. Even the Dems' lapdog media can't sell that as anything but that she is lying.

They're also gaining ammo by taking this 1 instance to portray the entire GOP as indecisive, tentative and disorganized.

For decades, Republicans have negotiated in good faith with Democrats hellbent on the “radical transformation” of Western Civilization. You can not negotiate in good faith with people who are not negotiating in good faith.

I’m not a Trump fan. But his approach is more correct than incorrect. Politics is bloodsport and he is not afraid to engage. It’s how to win in Washington. He understands that better than almost all the doddering old fools teetering around the halls of the Senate.

Literally the exact opposite will be true. You're clueless.

THIS - it is time to declare WAR on anything a DEMOCRAT supports - wipe these mfers off the face of the earth - and pray that we don't fall prey to the 'power at any cost' virus that effects the DEMOCRAT party today.

It is a risk - but it's either that or surrender to them.

I certainly agree with the first comment, as I think you are dead on, how you cannot be a Fan of the President for stopping the Filth is beyond me.
