I blame this squarely on the shoulders of feminism
Of course. No question.

But then again, I suppose you have to put some of this on men as well
Right again. Men are basically responsible for feminism.

An attractive, well educated 32 year old woman threw herself at me (I was 61). She hardly knew me, and I’m not a particularly attractive man. She was that desperate to get out of the kind of country you are trying to create.

I don't understand the harm in a nom- growing population.
What bad things are supposed to happen if our population remains constant at 330,000,000 for the next 30 years?

but we must bring back manufacturing to not continue to force people into major metro areas.
Isn't most manufacturing automated at least partially? How does this help solve your problem of people in the cities?

I view this as a good thing

Japan has been going through a similar issue, for a decade plus.
Anime, tentacle porn and infertility caused by radiation really fricked them up

End immigration and get the illegals out. There is nothing wrong with a modest population decline.
This is true - but the most important thing is to do whatever is required to generate more true American families - we do NOT need to import foreign cultures to any more extent than we have already suffered.
NOT that immigration is bad = this nation was BUILT by immigrants - but NOT by immigration that was devoted to sitting on their asses and drawing $$ from the taxpayer.
Good, LEGAL, immigration can be our salvation - but it would be MUCH better to have a population that came from hard working, moral AMERICANs.

Look at Spain today. There are entire abandoned towns you can purchase all due to population decline.
Many project world population will peak in 2045-2055.

Where have you been? For most of us, the shock will be receiving a social security check ever.

I understand the argument, but respectfully disagree. Nothing will destroy our country faster than being flooded with low IQ third world people. Especially the Muslims.
Agree on the Muslims.

Oh, and that Eastern European hottie? She was angling to rob you and steal your kidney.
I think she wanted out of there and into America. No one wants 62 year old kidneys.

Why don't white people have kids anymore? Don't look at me... I have 5! But my sister has zero, a number of my friends have 0 or 1. And it's not all a money thing.
One of said friends is a mildly successful attorney and she's now pushing 40 with no kids. Her only sibling has 1.
Another friend and example has 1 daughter. He has 3 siblings and 1 niece. His poor dad had 3 sons and will have 0 grandsons. And they're a very wealthy family.
I can go on and on with examples like this. But very few like me. My wife and I have befriended a couple that have 4 close in age to our 2 youngest. So that's one small win.

There's so many angles on this.
How long did we expect the population to keep growing? How many people can America support?
Can you even imagine America with 1 billion people? 2 billion? How many can the world support? 20 billion? 50 billion?
Natural and energy resources are finite. We're already running out and it's not going to be pretty when there's hardly any left.
All the wrong people are reproducing.
Two generations of women have the woke mind virus.
National debt is out of control, $38 trillion, just a massive ticking time bomb.
I mentioned this in the fast food prices thread--in the year 2000, Burger King Whoppers were 2 for $2 dollars. Now they're 1 for $8 dollars, 2 for $16 dollars.
Everyone is feeling the money pressure, even financially responsible people.
Great Recession took a toll on birth rates, same with the pandemic. What's next?
'The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed.
That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now.
The party's over, folks.'

A population drop helps solve two huge issues
1. The rise in AI replacing future workers means there will be less jobs.
2. Housing costs. Less competition for houses means lower housing costs.
