How is it even possible to negotiate with Iran?
They don’t negotiate in good faith

Like abortion?
Imagine the demographics of this country without abortion. We already live in basically a perpetual welfare state. Imaging how big the American welfare and entitlement state would be without abortion. Its basically the only thing saving us from being 60 Trillion in debt instead of just 37 Trillion. Some of you are so god damn dumb when it comes to this.

So you’d prefer we just frick around and find out.
Kind of seems like that’s what the United States has been doing for the last 45 years. This can has been kicked down the road for almost half a century until we finally got a President with some big balls who’s going to do something about it.

Why not just do nothing and allow Iran to eventually develop a delivery system to nuke us and kill 90 million Americans?
Because after all, they were only 2 weeks away from that, amiright?

So, that's how you justify the greatest evil that man has ever perpetuated?

A ground invasion, US troops on the ground, would be a colossal mistake. Catastrophic.
100k casualties is supposedly what the estimated cost would be and there are massive questions as to whether it’s even possible due to supply chain issues, hence the “totally random” call to GM and Ford about building munitions like we’re in WW2 again.
The issue was never hitting them. There was massive upside if they fell.
The issue is we began to redefine our stated goals which started an escalation ladder to a much wider conflict that’s beyond our grasp currently and nowhere close to top of the list as far as existential threats to our short to midterm future.
We needed to acknowledge when the gamble failed and just walk away claiming we’d met our goals and that everything was great.
If we’re going to play for those stakes it should be against the actual threats to national sovereignty or in attempt to finally establish a new and stable path forward that addresses the divide between nationalism and globalism so we can move forward as a cohesive nation, not fight another protracted war in the sand for the MIC and Israel that never seem to result in positive dividends for the nation, only blood and debt.

Its reality. I don't want to live in a country that has a bunch of unwanted children running around. It's why we have such a huge welfare state, crime, violent crime, etc. Basically every bad thing in this country would be eliminated if all these kids were aborted. Imagine thinking we need 'more' unwanted teenagers and young adults committing more crime. Look at New Orleans or Appalachian West Virginia to see this. We don't need 'more' of that.

You think we need more welfare and entitlements to "take care" of all these unwanted babies?
Because that is the direct result(s) of abortion restrictions. More welfare, more crime, worse public schools, etc.

Bruh, we’ve been taking out the leaders for six weeks. Don’t you think we should try something different?
I find it fascinating Iran keeps naming new leaders who only get to breathe for, at most, 36 more hours!!

Good luck with that. Eventually, you’ll run out of Iranians…

I will have to answer to a lot on judgement day, but at least one thing I won't have to answer for is being ok with the slaughter of millions of innocent souls because it would have inconvenienced me.

This might be the dumbest comment I have ever seen on this board. Holy shite.

Imagine blaming children for the bloated welfare state.
Did you ever think "if we got rid of the welfare state itself, the ship may right itself"?

We were better off with the agreement that Trump tore up. At least it allowed for inspectors and verification. Iran didn’t actually ramp up their program until after that was done unless you’re foolish enough to believe Trump when he said Iran was less than two weeks away from having a bomb (no evidence to support that statement)…

But I don’t see the Iranian bargaining position as currently decreasing.
My guess is that it decreases A LOT.
