I just keep it to small talk. “Hope you’re doing well. Have a nice weekend.” Whenever I need to have a necessary discussion about work with a female, I send an email.

Oh and a male coworker just came in my office to show me pictures of his new grandson wearing a onesie I gave him... ya know, normal coworker stuff.

I don’t talk to any women without my wife present when I’m alone unless it’s one of her friends or my TA since my wife knows her very well and doesn’t mind

Our workplace use to be filled with oily haired liberal people and very toxic until new management came in and cleaned house.
No purple/pink hair, facial piercings allowed anymore and a dress code implemented. Oily haired libs are gone too.
Everyone gets along and the environment is fabulous once the weirdos were permanently removed.

I live in Houston and have worked with and managed a number of women.
I have yet to have an issue. As I do with their male counterparts parts, I am respectful, “nice”, professional, and, at times, conduct Happy Hours to engage with all of them.
Don’t be a twat and act like an adult. It works 98% of the time.
Also, if you expect negativity, you will find it.
