I've been telling the diehards that the left wants to ruin the sport one way or another. Whether via lawsuits from concussions, or by making it political.
If the left could succeed in dropping NFL ratings, that would be a win for them.
This is the same reason people like Pedo Pope or Murdering Joe side with the left: you can be the worst human being on the planet, but if you promise them that you would take up arms against their domestic enemies, they will love you no matter how many babies you rape.

I agree. I don't think that any of the Woke pro sports teams, in the long run, will miss the "old people." They are going for the young demographic and the young people are Woke about Race, Climate Change and Universal Free Healthcare to all illegal immigrants.

Just for the record, I'm someone who has rarely watched authorized NFL content over the past few years and certainly will not do so any more.
I've been using illegal internet streams on my iPhone while I do Sunday chores around the house or work out at the gym. I'll also scope out the TV's in the gym that have any game on - I just don't want my views being registered by any legit metric.
The only real exceptions are national Saints games or the Saints / Seahawks game that I attended in person last year. I will refrain from that limited support for the foreseeable future now.

Yeah, but constant mistakes from the eternally stupid reaches a point in which the fan base no longer sits in sub freezing temps to watch millionaires play football.
This weekend my wife and I were watching the Rays play a game at home. I commented "This is no different than any other Sunday Afternoon game in St Petersburg, COVID be dammed. This ownership has screwed things up so badly, that playing in front of no one is the only Home Advantage the Rays have. They are used to it. The Rays situation is an example of sheer stupidity.

I kind of agree. It's like Nike. As much as I think the BLM movement is complete bullshite neither Nike nor the NFL will lose much, if anything from any of this.
