The honest truth is any rich person giving money to a politician or party is a bribe at some extent. I’m sure the people donating for this do expect something, even if it is just face time with the prez if ever needed.

The donations are odd. The list includes a bunch of of companies. But what’s in it for them? I wouldn't donate any $ for a ballroom. Seems like a silly investment.

Uh, a ballroom that will most likely hosts events and world leaders for the next 50 years?

The US is the most powerful nation in the world yet it uses tents for important events in modern times. Time for a ballroom.

You all bitch about private funding and claim bribes

If it was built using tax dollars you’d bitch about 38 trillion in debt

Admit you simply have TDS

This has absolutely nothing to do with the East wing of the White House.

This is one hundred percent TDS by people with the emotions of a teenage girl.

Trump should have an entire team of advisors whose only job, is to figure out things he can do, to raise the histrionic meter of the left to level five thousand. The endless entertainment value of that would be priceless.

You know how out of touch the screaming libs are? Even the NYT in its daily newsletter today acknowledged that the ballroom was necessary for state dinners/other similar functions. Let that sink in…

As usual, the idiots in Hollywood are freaking out over this. My favorite comment was from Mia Farrow (anybody remember her?).

"Hitler had a large ballroom, too."

Hey, Mia. At least Hitler didn't let Woody Allen sleep with his own daughter. But, you did.

YOU DONT HATE HOLLYWOOD ENOUGH (But I do).

This is factually and provably incorrect. Go look at DU or Reddit. By far, the majority of the losers there are shaking because he’s destroying the White House.

They are sky screaming loons.
The East Wing was originally an extra entrance, largely used for coat closets for visitors. It’s housed offices for President’s wives, and it still housed the Calligraphy Office.
Biggest deal with the East Wing is that’s also the location of the Emergency bunker, which I’d assume is being reinforced/enlarged/improved under the cover of building the ballroom.

What a weird post to use as your example. It was perfectly easy to understand what they were saying, grammar aside. It must have triggered you.

Speaking of lying, Trump said that he would not be touching the East Wing at all. And guess what? He did. I really could care less about this construction, but why did Trump have to lie about this?
Answer....he's Donald Trump.

Maybe misdirection to prevent the lawfare goons from throwing up their usual roadblocks to everything he does? Or maybe he just changed his mind when the building circumstances dictated.

The amount of hate we are getting on social media is insane

These people are unhinged

Amazing. This motivates me to put more "Trump 2028" stickers around Portland and Seattle to trigger them harder.
