It's actually a great strategy. Push the envelope to the breaking point and right before the bridge too far is crossed, pull back and hold the miles of ground gained with the gracious acceptance of the other side.
But make no mistake the bridge will be crossed eventually and the other side will again graciously acquiesce in favor of "safety and security".
This is exactly how communism has gained so much ground here.

Generally, Gays are not psychological wrecks; many are honest, smart, gifted folk and good citizens. Gay may have something to do with previous lives (assuming such exists) as in many instances it is definitely genetic and there from the git go. I saw it back when 'gay' did not exist, out in the country. The 'grooming' aspect weighs heavy, if Gays try to 'evangelize'/groom amongst the kids. And that is what brings the Gays out; they are feeling the grooming heat.
Trans are wierd as f, and are desperate 'attention whores', IMO, and will go the "whatever it takes" route to get attention. Not that that 'attention whore' thing ain't rampant in all of our American status-based culture, just that the madness is obvious.
As AI, Transhumanism and Genetic Engineering take hold, I suspect this will be a moot issue in relation to what is coming.

Dumbest thing the gay rights movement ever did was adding the "T" and "Q" to LGB. A dude with gender dysphoria mental disorder who puts on a dress will never be woman. I have a very good friend who happens to be a Lesbian and has a “wife”. She’s a devoted aunt, and is appalled by what she sees as mentally ill or even criminal people trying to groom and manipulate children.
They also see it as an attempt to hijack their sexuality-that they must accept trans men or women, who are not living the life of a gay person, and who are pressuring them to date trans people, when all they want to do is date people of their own sex. Their argument is that they are normal, and that they are happy in their own biological gender, and do not want to share their social space, i.e. dating and marriage, and families with people who are denying their own gender.
Both of these reasons, protecting children and their own biological identity are at stake here.

Grooming kids was fine for LGB. They apparently at least tolerated that. Killing kids is a bridge too far though?
