Liberals have ruined the most beautiful parts of this country. The west coast is really some of the most desirable area to live, and Dems have shat a literal turd all over it.
There used to be a huge military presence in CA bc of bases and you saw the military families living there, keeping it respectable. Now it's a GD barrio and tent city gala.
It makes me sick. Seattle is another. So beautiful, the cleanest air...and shite on.

I've spent most of the last 10 years in California, and although I enjoy it more than he does, most of his complaints are absolutely valid.
It's also incredibly beautiful and there is an incredible amount of stuff to do there.

Move to Monterey then.
There are nice places in California.
You'd get to play Pebble Beach Golf Course, plus the 8 other they have in a 30 mile radius...and the immigrants are from all over the world - so you'd be frustrated with a ton of accents or languages.
Move to Santa Barbara...Never had a Wal-Mart experience there. Upscale.
Move to Palm Springs.
Taxes are high because people keep coming. Simple. There's such a high demand to live in California, the lawmakers know they can keep raising sin taxes, property taxes and sales tax.
If people were fleeing in droves because of the taxes they'd all be lowered.
But people still keep coming and coming and coming and don't wanna leave - so the taxes go up and the real estate goes up.
And lets face it, the biggest immigration to California has always been everyone from every other state in the Union...not illegals - they are a problem, but they are dwarfed in comparison by every Midwest yokel local who wants to escape small town and live out their dream...
Or you who lost his job and needs the jobs California provides.

This part is not true. More and more people are leaving California. Especially the middle class. More people actually moved from California in 2018 than to.

People rag on the south, but I have an old college friend that moved back to Chino, where he grew up, about 15 years ago and he wants to come back to Alabama so bad now.

If you are filthy rich and within 20 years of death sure, but Monterey has become a shite hole as well. The public schools are overrun with illegals, the beaches have become trashed, homeless gutter punks are everywhere. Nice place to visit still, and even stationed but no place to live and raise a family.

You experience that mostly because you live downtown. The largest population of homeless in SD are in downtown. I live in Kensington and though there are homeless everywhere in town, panhandling is almost nonexistent. Can't throw a rock without hitting a lib though, so there's that.
I'm leaving the state in the next year or so, but for many reasons other than panhandling
