By the way, I hope you factored in the additional taxes, rent, gas, and living expenses when you took this job. The pay bump may not have been worth it.
I absolutely did - I did a lot of research before my first call with the recruiter and told the recruiter the position has to pay at least X in order for me to continue my candidacy. When I got the offer it was $17k more than what I told the recruiter.

Maybe this explains it. Liberals actually LIKE to be surrounded by homeless, piss, shite, needles, etc. They think YOU'RE the weirdo if you don't like it too!

I tend to agree with this. I’ve lived there a few times and have enjoyed my time there immensely. The bums in public restrooms at the beach we’re my biggest issues. Other than that I loved it. I’ve also never vote d for a democrat in the 20 years I’ve been able to vote.

That, I may agree with. But, otherwise, San Diego is considered a pretty desireable place by most who have experienced it. You can avoid the creeps.
VOR
When did you live there?

Is it that open air mall with the AMC theatre?

No that's Horton Plaza. Horton Plaza is on life support, surprised its still open even though hardly any stores exist in there anymore.

Mission valley and Horton Plaza are BOTH open air malls with AMC theaters.

You don't know shite about the history of California, the Spanish set up Missions to convert Indians and gave Spanish place names to the geography but there were very few Mexicans in San Diego in the 1940s, about 10% in 1970, 20% in 1990, and probably over 30% today.

Come to the heartland, patriot.
More jobs, though you likely won't make as much, but cost of living is WAY less.
You can afford to live in a smaller town of 1000-5000 people and commute an hour to your job in the city.
It's not worth it there. I left Los Angeles in 1988 and I will NEVER go back so long as GOD allows me to draw breath on this rock. That place will poison you and slowly (or quickly) kill you.
I pray that the next place you land is better. I really do. I can only imagine how much worse the left coast has gotten in the last 30 years.
No offense to those of you posters who live there and can handle it, it's just that I can't dream of trying to do it again. Very honestly, I'd rather be dead than try to make my way through life in that cesspool of a region ever again.

WOW, how come that place is full of cities and towns with Spanish sounding names?
They started pushing that meme in the late 60's to help sell burritos and tacos. "Taco Bell" would not be recognized without that PR move.

If you cant figure out how to get at least a little enjoyment out of this fine city, you're hopeless.

It reminds them of their childhood.
Thats why they like to make those "sucking" pursed lips poses. They're wishing for a nipple.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I just think it’s kinda stupid to be complaining about people speaking Spanish in a state that has a Spanish name and is filled with towns that got their names from Spanish origin. That’s all.

Paid propaganda?
What the hell is the matter with you!

It’s a valid point.
The most liberal-controlled cities are the ones with the biggest homeless (actually heroin & meth) problem.
