Remember the school shooting in Pearl, MS?
Coach Baw went out and got his gun out of his truck and neutralized the shooter.

Basically they can not/do not want to stop crime so they are going to make more criminals.
We have the best leaders don't we folks?
Best and brightest.

Just so everyone knows, this would effectively make the large majority of modern semi-auto handguns in America illegal.
frick the 10rd law, but I think it would only change magazines. Technically any magazine fed gun has the capacity of the magazine you put in it, whether 10 or 100 rounds.
Edit: Down votes without discussion? If this law would outlaw current magazine fed firearms rather than just magazines over 10rds id honestly like to know the answer

Its not the criminals they are trying to disarm.
It will disarm people that go shooting at ranges on weekends.
Won’t do much to disarm people that go shooting other people in Chicago every night.
That’s why the government will have to do more.
They’re willing to take one step at a time.

They typically have a steel rod encased in the lead. Helps penetrate further.
Not allowed at a lot of ranges, in case you plan to use them for practice.

This would effectively outlaw most handguns
No it would be like the last ban where mags had plastic blocks under the springs to limit capacity to 10 rounds. Pre ban mags should still be allowed unless they have added language to outlaw possession

This bill outlaws having a magazine over 10 rounds in your possession. Has a grant stipulation for a buyback program. This isnt “oh my mags are worth more cause they cant be sold” this is a straight up ban

Almost all handguns produced have California Compliant magazines as an option. We sell a ton of them. Almost all mag producers sell them.

Are there a grandfather clause to this?

It shall be unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a large capacity ammunition feeding device.
(2)
Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the possession of any large capacity ammunition feeding device otherwise lawfully possessed on or before the date of enactment of this subsection.
Im not sure whats goin on here one paragraph it says illegal to possess and the next one says otherwise. I could be wrong

Meaning what exactly? What is this supposed to accomplish? Is this supposed to make buying an upper the same as buying a lower for instance, or any currently non-serialized part for that matter?
