And now we pay
Income tax
Sales tax
Inheritance tax
Use tax
Property tax
We’re at a stage where they will tax us for breathing
And whatever other taxes. We need smaller government including military. Just cut everything by 50%

If people had to actually physically pay taxes by hand instead of it all being electronic...things might be a LOT different

Getting rid of employee withholding would be fricking hilarious. If everyone had to write a check in April the amount of democrats would drop to almost nothing.

Founding fathers hated political parties, wanted peace, and never could have envisioned we would be the world police. Long term politicians like Graham and Pelosi are at the core of the rot of this great country. It doesn't take a genius to see the insider trading occurring at all levels of government. That should be considered treason, and any politicians found guilty of treason should be executed.

This x 1,000,000. It’s becoming very difficult to accumulate real wealth and if you are W-2 and not a (real) Wall Street guy or something similar, it’s really hard to stack money.
We are all paying over 50% or so of our money to this clownshow one way or another.

The US even passed its own Stamp tax in 1797.
They were actually pretty high on progressive taxation, also.
