We shall see.

I voted Trump knowing he’s pro Israel.

I’m not going to get off the train because he ends up being pro Israel.

Just like you knew the tariffs were coming.

Just like you knew the deportations were coming.

What you baws think of the following argument that I found on X:

America used to manufacture but doesn't need to anymore. We don't want or need tons of people working in sweat shops making t-shirts anymore. We have "outgrown" that phase.

About 80% of our economy is service oriented. Almost 1 trillion of our GDP comes from JPmorgan, Chase, Apple, Google, Amazon and similar companies. This is despite Apple not manufacturing any of their stuff here. What we provide is intellectual capital - software, research, consulting, intellectual property licenses, etc.

Therefore it is wrong headed to bring manufacturing back. It is making us go backward, not forward.

-end argument-

This argument is good and I would agree with it, but there is one small problem that I think needs addressing. Do you know what it is?

You never had a choice, a recession was going to happen regardless of who won.

The people who raised me went through WW I / Spanish Flu / Great Depression and taught me well what they saw. I am seeing it now. If you are not sitting with cash to live on for the next 3 to 7 years right now, prepare to get butt raped. Closest we have been to the Great Depression was the Oil Shocks in the 1970's and Ronnie loaded us up with debt to buy us out in the short term. Neither D or R have fixed it since and the pebble is now a boulder rolling downhill and picking up speed.

Glad to know that you were taught by morons and that you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

It's amazing on here that you really can't get a feeling of certainty (or at least a reasonable prediction) of what's coming because of politics. Where should one go for unbiased reporting on the world economic stage because this place ain't it?

The market was way too high and everyone knew we were in a bubble and a recession despite the media ignoring it.

Prices drop they can buy more and ride it up. I’ve got a few stacks that I’m holding onto before pushing. I need a few more liberal tears and doom wishing before I buy.

Then you’re retarded. My biggest fear is Trump wouldn’t do what needed to be done.

Give it a little while. All the trolls and bots will simmer down. They always do this when they think they got Trump.

If you don’t build it yourself, you can lose control of the manufacturing. Outsourcing it to other countries which are not friendly to the US will led to shortages if conflicts develop between the US and that country.

Also, the amount of intellectual property that was stolen using Chinese manufacturing has been a drain on companies whose products get bastardized and subverted by cheap knockoffs.

Companies ought to be thanking Trump for moving manufacturing back to the US.

If you had a lick of common sense, you would know you did. Trump was very clear about his intentions with tariffs.

Trump ran on flat 10% tariffs across the board. Not whatever this shite is.
