Baws, time to buy and in a few months, we are going to have a huge problem because the USA is going to have a huge Champagne shortage from all the mixers that will be thrown in celebration of the billions that we corrected in a trade deficit and we are weened of the teat of cheap goods at the expense of our long-term viability and self-determination.

I hope it drops another 10%. Eyes to the future.

I didn't realize I voted for a recession.

I know, right!

That’s why I’m buying all my champagne now.

If you had a lick of common sense, you would know you did. Trump was very clear about his intentions with tariffs.

Did you not believe Trump when he said he would use tariffs in debates and campaign speeches or were you asleep when he used them his last administration?

My stock market nerd friends are like a kid in the candy store. They are ecstatic with everything going on. I don't know enough about the stock market to give a shite but they do. I honestly don't know why they are so giddy but I trust that they know what they are talking about since they are obsessed with their portfolios

You could go find the most beat down index mutual funds/ ETFs for the S&P, Nasdaq, Large Cap, Russel 1000, etc. and have a decent chance of getting a double digit return by this time next year.

Recession is a good thing. People are saying we have the best recessions. Big beautiful recessions. The best recessions in history. I donno, but a lot of people are saying this.

Idiocracy is upon us.

Good stock traders make just as much money on the drop as they do on the rally.

FIFY

The people who raised me went through WW I / Spanish Flu / Great Depression and taught me well what they saw. I am seeing it now.

If you are not sitting with cash to live on for the next 3 to 7 years right now, prepare to get butt raped.

Closest we have been to the Great Depression was the Oil Shocks in the 1970's and Ronnie loaded us up with debt to buy us out in the short term. Neither D or R have fixed it since and the pebble is now a boulder rolling downhill and picking up speed.

We’ve been in a recession for the last 2 years. This is at least an attempt to dig us out.
