maybe I’m clueless on the topic, but you think vouchers were a big factor compared to the economy, the Iran war, and how shitty the (R) candidates were?

It matters if you are HISD because you can see it for the grift that it is

Mike miles guts the district and jukes a few ghetto schools staar numbers up to make it look like they are doing something. Then vouchers came along and only second rate private schools take them.

The facts are the facts and they don’t lie. 100% of y’all swaggering Texan cowboys who didn’t vote, did so because your panties got bunched up over nothing. Just trade in the super duty and get a Subaru. Trade in your cowboy hats and boots for yoga pants. Get ready for your communist overlords to destroy everything your ancestors worked/fought and died for because you let your panties get wadded up.

Every word of the above is 100% fact and absolutely pathetic.

We Texans just got sick and tired of the grift. And Trump barging in and running Cornyn out to back the most unlikeable politician in our state was the final straw. Abbott doing dick nothing didn’t help either.

So your solution was to elect a liberal governor with no experience doing anything and also elect a vegetarian pro trans freak to senate because “the grift.” Also Cornyn lost his primary because he stabbed conservatives in the back multiple times. Texas is fricked and idiots like you deserve it.

again, because where you live is already a shithole. You’re now just actively routing for the downfall of Texas because of peen envy.

You are generally a good poster but slow your frickin’ roll baw. There are some nice arse places in Louisiana. Where my parents live is as nice as anywhere in Texas. The state just maxed out income tax at 3% and they don’t pay shite in property taxes.

I want Texas strong and red. But yall better get it together and quick. Because it seems like the state to your east is at least trying to.

bingo.

I like all these Leftists whining about Elon’s donations in Texas. Completely ignoring the fact that Tallafreako raised or had attacks ads bought for him totaling $245 million. Guess that all came from his his voters lulz

When the media of a country uses propaganda to paint everything that Trump and all Republicans do in a negative way this is what you get

I understand gas prices. It is what it is, but a lot of those things you mentioned the media is the one who painted it in a picture where it upsets people.

I live in Harris county but frequent Austin. I’ll never vote blue but the turnout for blue was the highest it’s ever been. There’s many reasons for that, both culturally and with who’s sitting in the White House. The problem is the dems don’t give a shite about the middle class, and ultimately we are all fricked here.

I want to see the Texas GOP voting turnout numbers.Considering all the state wide offices went Blue it seems like apathy had set in on the GOP side and the Dems were motivated.
TBH I thought Paxton would squeak it out, even though he is a bad candidate. I never thought Abbott would've lost. I didn't even look at the polls for that race. I kind of assumed status quo would remain, but it didn't keep me home, I still voted.
This is a surprise for me. My worse case scenario was getting Talarico for Senate

I don’t ever want Democracy.
Mob rule doesn’t really favor success. If you’re as successful as you’re attempting to portray in this thread, you would know this.

The excess of liberty, whether in States or individuals, seems only to pass into excess of slavery.”

A lot of people are fed up with the grift, high prices, ridiculous construction projects, the war in Iran, how so many of our career military officers have been treated and our out of control deficit. It feels as if the country is in chaos, and people are tired of it.

You’re claiming the majority of people living in TX were not born in America? You realize that is patently false, right?

But I thought Hispanics helped trump win in 24?
That they were majority conservative leaning hard working people trying to make a living?

Now it’s their fault your Putin sucking president destroyed his own party? Punishes anyone who disagrees? Goes to war with an invisible enemy to protect a bloodthirsty rage blinded small minority group in the Middle East?

I love racists go to of, “if everyone was white, none of this would happen”

This has been coming for about 8 years or more. Michael Berry had commented on the grass roots of the Democrats years ago and how their ground game was becoming very effective and patient. They were more focused on judges and County Judges along with the legislature instead of the national scene. Once they had a handle on the local scene they would go heavy on the national federal offices. The Paxton nomination offered them a big opportunity as Paxton was damaged goods.

You’re right. And I still love my home state. It’s just weird watching these so called Conservatives or actual Moderates on TD actively route for the downfall of their neighboring state. Why? That’s the equivalent to hoping your next door neighbor files for bankruptcy overnight, how does that help you?

I’m doing my part. Wife and I both held our noses and voted straight Republican because it’s still better than the alternative. For us and for the future of our children. Hell, where I live in Montgomery County, was the most lopsided county in Texas for Paxton (according to ABC13 this morning, which I still need to verify because ABC13 lies through their teeth on an hourly basis).

That’s a fair assessment. Now do you honestly believe Democrats will address any of this? frick no
