Republicans and Democrats both would have passed a Dreamer/Border Security bill if Trump would have supported it. That fact has been well established for weeks now. Trump deals in fantasy and his sycophants lap it up.

They couldnt even put it on his desk for the veto

It isn't a huge concession when they were brought here as kids through no fault of their own and 80% of Americans in all the polls say they should stay and have a shot a citizenship. What are you going to do? Deport Dreamers?

Yank kids out of college who speak perfect English and deport them?

Boy, you swallowed the propaganda hook, line, and sinker. The kids, right? You mean the full grown adults that are in their late 20s and 30s? Even if you believe the bullshite propaganda of "no fault of their own," they've been here for 10 years since they turned 18. So they've been "fault of their own[ing]" for a decade. Our immigration law isn't squatters rights, and it is bad policy to reduce it to such. We know, because we did it in the 80s. It didn't solve shite.

He can. They are illegal and have no legal reason to be here. He could have gone with the lowest estimate of what 400,000. He could have gone with a “legal status” but no he went with citizenship to 1.6 million. I don’t think you understand how big of a concession that is. Otherwise this who “I hate dems” thing is purely a ruse.

Why not?

According to whom? I'll bet not a single poster on this site has been polled.

You had ALL parts of govt controlled by Dems for the first 2 years of Obama's term. Why didn't you do anything then?

......especially since Baraaq led everyone to believe that immigration reform was the #1 plank in the dimocratix platform.

They were brought here as kids. Where are they going to go? What resources do they have?

Fine. Deport them all. Whatever. See how that works.

Trump is old enough to remember congress lying to Reagan.

Congress nowhere near passed anything that wasn’t another lie

You obviously know nothing about this issue if you think the only two options is to give 1.6 million people citizenship or deportation

A college education and the English language. Shouldn't they be able to find gainful employment in their country of origin with those resources?

That's a stupid line of thinking. Go look at electoral results as result of GWB's amnesty, and the Dreamer Act. You are on the wrong side of this issue. It's why no one passes amnesty. It is political suicide. Deportation will be enormously popular. Trust me.

Sounds like a good project for the governments of their country of origin. Those governments should assist their citizens.

How many of these illegals will keep supporting the democrats anyways? Decades of harmful policies haven't stopped blacks from voting 95% democrat. Maybe they should stop buying into identity politics.

Why are they so afraid to go back? I thought y'all lectured us tha Mexico was not a shithole? And that Mexicans are the hardest-working people on the planet? There should be lots of jobs.

They probably had a hard time finding fulltime work as a child. Now we have equipped them to go back and be successful in their home country. They should be thanking us for deporting them.
