A group of DREAMers held a protest in front of the Democratic National Committee Monday with the aim of criticizing Democrats for not passing a permanent fix to the DREAM Act.

Approximately two dozen activists gathered in the street outside of the DNC early Monday morning with bullhorns and signs criticizing National Democrats for not passing new protections for DREAMers. The protesters then blocked the front doors of the DNC and refused staffers from entering or exiting the building.

“The Democrats party has never been on my side,” another protester said. Another said Democrats left DREAMers “Hanging by a thread.”

“I am here today to tell Democrats that they are not my allies and I will continue to fight and show that that I will not collaborate with them until they do something for my community” the protester said before calling Democrats “fake allies.”

“If you won’t let us dream!” protesters chanted. “We won’t let you sleep!”

Some activists dressed in white wigs and held canes signifying that it has been 17 years for any national Democrats to act on DREAMer legislation.

This is what happens when all you do is play identity politics and don't really care about fixing things or finding solutions.

It’s March 5th and the Democrats are nowhere to be found on DACA. Gave them 6 months, they just don’t care. Where are they? We are ready to make a deal!

Trump is on that arse

And this is why the GOP should use this as a wedge against them. It may not create many more votes, but it will deflate the Dem's base when they essentially kill it in the Senate again. Trump could pull a big one here.

Anyone who believes that this is what happened is a moron.

Republicans and Democrats both would have passed a Dreamer/Border Security bill if Trump would have supported it. That fact has been well established for weeks now. Trump deals in fantasy and his sycophants lap it up.

And how will they do this when Trump himself is the one who turned down $25 Billion for the Border Wall because he wanted all the other stuff?

Trump himself blew up the deal. It's kind of hard to do a deal when you are the reason the deal doesn't get done.

Give the man his wall and border security. You don't expect something for nothing from the guy who wrote, Art of the Deal, do you?

So, get them to make the "promise" a reality. How hard is that?

All he had to say was "put it in writing" and we're done.

Instead, he adds in the kitchen sink and his proposal got less than 40 votes in the Senate and just died.

What a joke.

Congress had King Amnesty in the WH for years and didn't come up with anything.

Now it's Trump's fault. I love you water heads.

Except it didn't provide two of most important pieces in it. Why give up something for not getting what you want.

You Dems really don't truly understand how deals work I see.

Congress was controlled by Republicans who wouldn't pass anything.

Democrats should have passed something in 2009-2010, but they were too busy shoving Obamacare down our throats.

Deal with facts, not with fantasy. Obama screwed up his first two years. But, how was he going go get anything through on Dreamers post 2010? Do you even know how Congress works?

Sure they did, it was unconstitutional executive order done by Capt. Red Line in the Sand.

Get that MSM cock out your mouth and pay attention. Funding for the wall was 1/3 of what he proffered to give 1.8M Dreamers a pathway to citizenship. Stop listening to fake news. Real news organizations spelled it out clear as day!
