That’s a lot. What do you want us to do, go in with ground troops? We can bomb them all we want but their leadership still won’t step down. They don’t care how many of their people die.

On its face it's a good deal.

To truly end it, we would have to do a major ground invasion and lose alot of life. Even then, it would probably end like Iraq and Afghanistan did. And it would ensure the democrats take over for the next 10 years. It was Bush that created Obama remember?

WE just have to accept that we may need to do a bombing run like we did like last June every so often to keep their nuke development at bay.

Cut the deal and come home.

100%.

doing what's absolutely necessary to defeat the IRGC would result in significant collateral damage which we don't have the stomach for. maybe we were expecting an opposition to swell up which never occurred.

It should be criticized by those who believe it should be criticized, sure. Oh, or are you stating how everyone needs to think, if they wanna be correct??

When Iran was under sanctions were they still getting paid by Russia and the UK via British Petroleum?

When Obama used the US Treasury printing machine--- to repay their sanctioned money. Did Obama or Iran pay it all back?

Was Iran getting backdoor oil money and all the money in the billIions of cash, gold,?

It must be...unless Russia, China. The UK, Financed their Navy and black arms deals in the Ukraine... That mostly came from Biden giving away trillions in Afghanistan..(including rare minerals to China)

Sure, to the same people who were gonna think that regardless, before the whole thing was even conceived.

If their ‘big 3’ nuclear facilities are severely damaged or inoperable, they won’t (can’t) be building a bomb. Their only hope would be their crazy neighbor giving them one. Then they still have to acquire a delivery system.

IMO, the only leverage they have with the uranium is selling it. Seeing as how not even a dangerous janitor can move around Iran without a missile falling on their head, they might have a hard time shuffling a half ton of uranium around.

Even if what you’re saying is true, it doesn’t matter. It absolutely is a win for them if this is the actual deal.

Oh that viewpoint carries no credibility with me. I very comfortably and confidently see it differently. All due respect.

It should but a deal by definition has benefits for both sides. Some desire that they get NO benefits thus no deal, some think a deal should have ALMOST no benefits, while others want any remnant of the regime gone, dead or both. Then there is a small but growing group who think we should nuke them.

There will be critics of all these things, as there should be.

Cool. That’s just your bruised ego though.

From the Iranian point of view, nothing has changed from pre-war to MOU, except that they will no longer have sanctions on their oil. It’s a net positive.
