All talks about deadliest school "shootings" should be retitled deadliest school massacres and include the deadliest massacre which was in Bath, Michigan in 1927. 45 people including 38 children were murdered.

The Robb Elementary shooting occurred in Uvalde, TX days before the NRA show was scheduled to begin in Houston, TX. They are 4 hours apart, and people in Texas consider that walking distance.
Look, I'm red af, and I used to own firearms before the boasting accident when they all were lost.
But according to you, that means that Dallas and Houston are basically walking distance.
Well, they aren't. And people don't consider that walking distance.
You are reaching here.

Yes, the US government has directed an incredible conspiracy since Columbine because the federal government is so efficient at everything they do.
The government is absolutely broken, yet you morons think the deep state could pull this off.

I just wish our schools were as safe as our airports…

CRAZY PEOPLE and CRIMINALS DO NOT OBEY LAWS!!!!!!!
This is the easiest issue to manage....put all crazies and criminals away for good! No more second, third, and hunderdth chances....
So, like it use to be? Who could argue?

Wow, some of ya’ll really get hung up on little things. Ok, let me rephrase. A 4 hour drive in Texas is not exactly considered to be taking a trip to the moon.

I do know that the Tuskegee Experiment began in 1932. It involved 600 “patients” and hundreds of government officials and employees. It ran until 1972. The only reason it stopped was a whistleblower doctor leaked the information to the press. So yeah, apparently the government is pretty good at certain things. A 40 year long study involving up to 1,000 people, resulting in at least 100 deaths. And nobody outside the government knew a damn thing about it. So spare me “the government wouldn’t do this” or “the government couldn’t do this”.

What are the US Marshals doing on scene at an incident as its happening that has nothing to do with them an hour a way from their nearest offices?
They were doing a bust or an arrest near to the school went the call went out about the shooting.

Three of the four all had the scene commander ordering officers to pull back and wait, resulting in higher death tolls
Columbine was excusable since it was the first well known one. Parkland and Uvalde are horrific because they knew better. Uvalde completely horrific because of how long they waited.
Newtown was a one off because Lanza was barely functional, and never would have pulled anything off if his gun nut mother didn't train him and leave a cache of guns and ammo lying around.

The statistical probability that you are looking for:
1/131,000 schools (.000007)
1/36 possible weeks of a school year being within a week of the NRA convention (.027)
1/26 cities that meet NRA convention requirements in friendly states (.038)
.0000007% chance. Thats 7 in 1 billion. Roughly 1 in 143 million. About twice as likely as winning the Powerball.

You can literally drive from North Carolina to Ohio in less than 4 hours.

incredibly coincidental that two of the four deadliest shootings
So basically flipping a coin.

I just did a little research, and according the National Education Center, there are 131,000 k-12 schools in the US. So the odds that the deadliest school shooting in history would happen at the school closest to the NSSF headquarters is 1/131,000. That is if I remember my statistics right. But, it gets a LOT more complicated to try to figure out what the odds are that 2 of the remaining three would occur right before and right beside an NRA convention that happens once a year, and moves around year to year. And all three of them involved site commanders ordering officers to pull back and wait. I only took statistics 1 and 2 in college. I need some help.
With the numbers you provided, a back-of-the-envelope estimate yields - not very likely. On the order of being hit by lightning right after winning the Powerball.

The VT shooting was the biggest death toll of any school shooting.
The media ignores that one though since an "assault rifle" wasn't used.

All four also happened under Democrat leadership.
Strike that. Three of the four happened under Democrat leadership.

We know this. So why doesn't Congress ban military-style assault weapons, auto sears, bump stocks and whatever other accessories exist to convert semiautomatics to assault weapons? Pass a constitutional amendment if you have to. Enough is enough-- America can't wait!
