Bud Light was always nasty. Dylan Mulvaney was just the catalyst which accelerated the Bud Light braking mechanism

If tarzana is spouting this, we now have the latest prog talking point.

The 3 stages of prog rationalization:

1.) This is nothing but a fringe-movement by a few “transphobic” wack-a-doodles on the right!

2.) This will will blow-over in a few weeks!

3.) Bud Light was always swill and that is why sales are tanking!

Short versions-

“We put our idiot newbies on a leash with regards to this shite.”

“We fricked around. Found out implies we learned our lesson.”

“Yeah, there is spillover to other brands. BL is toxic and it is hurting other Bud brands plus Michelob.”

I don’t mind a small “Veteran Owned” under a logo, but the BRC stuff is crass and silly.

ETA It may be a fine line to draw, but I’m fine with people monetizing their experience and knowledge. And there is the rare example when someone writes to inform more so than glorify themselves. I’d put Hal Moore in that category.

The Bud Light volume decline in the U.S. over the first three weeks of April, as publicly reported, would represent around 1% of our overall global volumes for that period. With this perspective, and in the context of our global business, we believe we have the experience, the resources, and the partners to manage this. And our full-year EBITDA growth outlook is unchanged.

Nope

Not yet

I have not watched NFL in years, no more InBev brand purchases from me

At least for the foreseeable future…

threw away a BL t-shirt this morning.. I got it from the Golden Nugget from the BL people last summer. Won't even wear it to cut the grass.

Should have used it as a grease rag so you don't waste a more worthy rag.

Thanks . I don't drink BRC and hadn't heard about that one.

I don't understand how these people can be so ignorant towards their customer base.

They can because if ignorant people like you who are too lazy to do a simple search or stay informed. Heads in the sand. Simple as that.

I’m not much of a beer drinker, but I do buy beer to have for guests. What is a decent diet beer (Let’s call a spade a spade) I could replace Bud Lite with?

Don’t you own a plane? And you’re buying Bud Lite for company?

Yep, Bud Light is seen a “trans” beer. It’s a culture thing now.

Let me start by clarifying a few facts. This was the result of one camp. It was not made for production or sales to general public. It was one post, not a formal campaign or advertisement.

Now let's talk about our consumers. We continue to be committed to the programs and partnerships that we have forged over decades with our consumers and with organizations that represent a wide range of communities where we operate.

Over the years, our global footprint has enabled us to successfully navigate different types of challenges, such as temporary ban on beer sales in certain countries and the most long shutdown of bars and restaurants across the globe. With respect to the current situation and the impact of Bud Light sales, it is too early to have a full view.

They still don't get it, and if they do they don't care.

frick them.

This fricking guy. That's EXACTLY what he did by first reminding consumers that he was a veteran (and thus deserved a pass) in the initial statement, then later blaming "rogue marketing employees" in later statements.

So the CEO still won’t come out and say directly “we screwed up”.

Then the war on Tranny Beer is still on!

Some think that is a fatal flaw of the Groomers/child mutilators/death Democrat complex's movement - that they over stepped massively into their demise

You know it was successful because Trump and JJDoc tried to take credit for it well after the fact.
