the band was performing Sunday in Tampa as part of their "Southern Hospitality Tour" when a visual thrown on a screen reportedly showed the band's Black Crowe character dressed as Uncle Sam.

the crowd started chanting "U.S.A."

That's when Chris addressed the crowd, saying ... "Thanks for the geography lesson."

When the crowd kept chanting, Chris added ... "I don't know what you have to be so proud of right now."

People got so pissed at Chris, they started booing and leaving altogether.

Chris had some words for the angry audience members, saying ... "For those of you f****** booing us, some of us are not afraid. And we most assuredly are not f****** ignorant.”

That life is still so good here people have expendable income to buy tickets to listen to bands who haven’t been relevant in 25+ years for one thing.

Hollywood, the music business, etc. It all went to hell a long time ago. Screw 'em.

Maybe not. But he is stupid enough to not know it’s a bad business decision for a band to alienate its audience.

It's comical how these folks act as if Bill Clinton and Obama never bombed any brown people.

Hell, Bill had to get his Oval Office bj out of the news cycle...let's bomb some folks.

But dude is gonna selectively lose his shite over Trump....

Really? I thought I read where Kate Hudson's politics were pretty much in line with her surrogate Dad, Kurt Russell? His politics are pretty conservative.

EDIT - I did a quick check and apparently what I read was incorrect. Oh, well. One more disappointment out of Hollywood.

The music business fell apart after Bananarama broke up.

Considered buying tickets to see them in Nashville because I love Whiskey Myers who is touring with them. Extra glad I didn’t pull the trigger.

Your open hostility is actually indicative of fear. Phobia, actually. Irrational fear.

Trying to convince the crowd or himself?

80s bands continue to prove that they are more detached from their base than ever.
