That is the only explanation for Shapiro.
He must have felt that he would suffer politically if he attached himself to Harris.
I think she was told no thank you multiple times. I really don't think the high end talent on the dim party were lining up to attache their wagon to the woman who got 0 votes in the 2020 primaries.

That’s true. At the time it was reported that Newsome, Witmer, and Shapiro all turned her down.

Exactly, you’ll never see a state like PA be decided by only 60,000 votes or less.

I recall it being opined that his religion might be an issue with the base. We all know how democrats really feel about Jews.

If they would have gone with a white guy and let him throw Biden and Harris under the bus, I think Trump would have been screwed.
I dunno - their fraud operation is still powerful.
But the only person I absolutely feared they'd choose was Michelle Obama.
I figured they'd wait until the last moment to pull Biden and stick Michelle in his place

The only one who crushed Harris is Harris. She is not likable
Well the Dem players who finagled her into the nominee without a primary are the real parties responsible. They has better candidates on the bench.

This election comes down to two things. Either you’re for Trump or your against Trump. Nobody is “for Kamala.” She’s just a terrible candidate.

Sheep! They tried to get Trump supporters to fall in line with Desantis & all it did was hurt his brand bc we didn’t fall for it.

Seems like the last couple of years Pelosi got tired of hearing her party was being ran by the Squad, the fringe Left, and probably made that known through out her colleagues. I think it has gotten to a point where even the Left doesn't want anybody THAT liberal running their party.
Yet they still gave us a Harris/Walz ticket. Maybe the most far left ticket in history.

I think she fell prisoner to the moment with the Israel Palestine headlines being much more centered at that point. Which is an indictment on her judgement of world politics in and of itself.

So that's the story they are going with....
Wild arse circumstances that just kinda happened and were not coordinated.

Let’s be honest, they’ve never developed a real bench. They threw 20 plus names at us in the 20 primaries and none of them stuck. Rather than find their next star, center the party ideologically, listen to populist voter sentiment, and shun the fringe - they just said “frick it” and went with Harris.
I think they’ve been in a bubble of advantage in their echo chamber for so long, that they know how to win on message anymore. Like a house cat getting its arse destroyed by a stray.

Immediately after those backroom dealings, every nonconforming Democrat had to accept that Harris, without getting one vote in the primary, was being installed by the machine to replace the sputtering President Joe Biden. With that selection predetermined, Biden officially announced on July 21 that he would not be running for reelection and was endorsing Harris as his replacement.
And it's for this reason, it's time to pile on. Penalize them down-ballot.
For those who believe 'band-wagoning' does occur, and for every conservative who already supports Trump - our only action should be 'straight ticket'.
This is the punishment the Democrats deserve.

I understand why Heels Up didn’t pick Shapiro. It’s well known. The Demorat Party is racist and antisemitic. Shapiro is Jewish.
Posted on 11/3/24 at 5:27 pm to ItzMe1972
The obviously mentally declined and ailing Biden actually would have had a better shot at a legitimate victory than Harris/Tampon.
It's honestly hilarious to think about.

Supposedly Walz was the only taker. Everyone else turned her down.

My SO and I voted GOP for every contested race on our ballot (all those which weren't, were all GOP).
