I vote Republican mostly, but you better believe I voted for Talerico over the criminal and will never vote for Dan Patrick either.

As someone with property in South Texas and know a hell of lot more people that own land down here you are delusional if you don't think border security hasn't improved multiple times over in the last 2 years. There are plenty of reasons the Rs are getting their arse kicked, wets streaming over the border for the last 2 years changing the election outcome isn't one of them.

I voted for Abbot, but I was done with him. He is a perfect example of why we should have term limits. The only thing he offered over the Democrat was I know he won’t support an income tax.
However, he held public education funding hostage so he could get his vouchers passed. So even though my property taxes have gone up astronomically over the past 6 years, our school funding has been frozen at 2019 levels.
In a perfect world, we would have low tax rates all the way around. But if I’m going to be forced to pay those taxes to support my local schools, a central planner in Austin, regardless of party, should not have the ability to hold those dollars from our schools.

How do you have a decrease in foreign born people without a closed border? So many conservatives are willing to lie even when it is easily disproven. And then they'll tell you they are principled.
