If you were in my Christian Concentration Camp, you'd be taking a beating every day and writing out The New Testament in longhand.
Just kidding. There are no Christian Concentration Camps yet.

Apologies for my previous post. I didn’t realize what an academic you were.

I mean... The last time I checked, the Bible wasn't full of stuff about pedos, mass murder of those who don't accept Christians, or talk of receiving virgins in heaven.
Kind of a bad comparison by the OP in my opinion.

I would absolutely love for them to get a full dose treatment of Sharia for them to find out.

I believe the Bible can also be studied at the high school level, as a social studies elective course of comparative world religions, examining the Bible and its fundamental tenets as well as that of other religious texts, including the Quran, Bhavagad Gita, Book of Mormon, Buddhist, Confucianism, Taoism, etc.

On some level which they can’t acknowledge, they understand this. But it’s mashed deep down by their desire to see America destroyed.

You know who doesn’t have a Muslim problem as well as an assimilation problem? China.

then go to a Catholic private school. There's a reason separation of church and state exists
2) I don't need to go to school any longer
3) I don't believe in the kind of separation that has evolved over time. I believe the state ought to support the church, and the church ought to support the state, but both remain independent in their roles in society while upholding the true religion.

quote:There is no truth that is merely my truth. Truth is objectively true, whether I believe it or not.
I also believe the truth should be taught, starting with the unquestionable truth of climate change and its deleterious effect on all living things.
What is your truth?
The truth is the there is one God in three persons, and the second person of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man, and He, as a divine person, took on a human nature to obey the requirements of the law that God gave to humanity, and died a death He didn't deserve to pay the debt we owe to God by our sin for forgiveness and imputed righteousness so we can be at peace with God and have eternal life.
I believe Christ is ruling even now from Heaven as the King of kings and Lord of lords, and that every knee should bow to Him and every nation and ruler should "kiss the Son" in honoring Christ as Lord.
I believe that message is more critical than "climate change". This earth will be destroyed by fire one day and made new when Christ returns. What is more important than this physical earth is our spiritual state before God through Jesus Christ.

Anyone who supports this should ask themselves how they would feel about similar changes in NYC, except flip the religion.

I believe Islam should not be promoted because it is both a false religion and an extremely dangerous ideology that is bad for society.

The Bible is a literary work. It is literature. It is studied by literary critics. There is not a written work that has influenced novelists and poets more than the Bible. :HailHailtoMichigan
Check out Mark chapter 5:
A: Jairus’ 12 year old daughter is sick
B: Woman bleeding for 12 years interrupts
B’: Jesus heals bleeding woman when she touches him and calls her “daughter” and she was healed because of her faith.
A’: Jesus heals Jairus daughter by resurrecting her after telling her parents to believe.
These chiastic ring structures are found throughout the gospels, which are all literature on par with the Homeric epics.
Think about Mark 5 for a moment:
- a child is ill and dying
- parent seeks out help
- there are witnesses
- Jesus goes to the child, who is now dead
- Jesus touches the child
- the child is resurrected and walks
- the child’s parent was amazed
Immediately after in chapter 6, they ask if Jesus is Elijah. That makes a lot of sense. Because in 1 Kings 17…
- a child has died
- parent seeks out help
- there are witnesses
- Elijah goes to the child
- Elijah touches the child
- the child is resurrected and walks
- the child’s parent was amazed
The writer of “Matthew” who wrote the expanded and “corrected” version of “Mark” saw the error. In Mark, the child was sick and dying but not dead when the parent asked Jesus to intervene. In 1 Kings, the child has already died in the Elijah story when the widow asked Jesus to intervene. “Matthew” corrected that. In his version of the Jairus’ daughter story, the dad comes to Jesus and said his daughter is dead.
So it’s not just the Old Testament that is mythology and literature, but also the New Testament.

An opinion piece from the hill, nice lol. Have you ever read an independent news source in your life?
Show me one person who set fire to a church who was then let go and no prosecuted as the "article" promotes is happening over and over. I'll wait. Just try to use your brain even a little, I knows it's hard for you though.

Well. Part of it would. The "women's lib" part. AND they'd get a dose of what "fascism" and "patriarchy" are really defined as.
Ok. No. I'm not cheering for the muzzies. Not even if they taught the blue hairs a long deserved lesson. frick them back to their own countries.
